Dirk's Robot

Dirk had been hearing all the crew talk about the robot wars coming up. At
first, he had no interest in them whatsoever. He had better things to do.
Then, he realized that he didn't have better things to do. This ship could get
pretty boring at times. What better way to pass the time than to build his own
combat robot?
Dirk went to one of the cargo bays and unveiled his recon drone that he had
built for the GELF mission. No one had found it to cannibalize it for their
robots, so he could do it himself. Once he began to dismantel the drone, he
realized that he had nothing on it that could be transformed into a weapon. All
there were were circuit boards, electric generators, and wire. There were no
offensive weapons. Then an idea hit him.
He worked for hours building his machine. When it was over, Dirk had a round
robot with a two ft. diameter and about one ft. tall. He had found some tracks,
which were completely concealed underneath, for mobilization. There was nothing
on the outside. It was just round, smooth, stronge meatal. He spraypainted the
name on it: tEMPtation. "Now all I have to do is take it to Smegg and have it
official." Which he did.
