OOC - Oh, "Star Corps" wasn't my longest running campaign, that title
goes to my fantasy campaign which I named by BBS after, 'the World of
Cendri' which lasted at least 7 years. But, By no means am I the
title holder of the longest run campaign ever, that I understand, is
held by some member of TSR in Wis. His is 12 years and counting!

Really? Huh, I have often wondered if some of my old players went
off and based stuff in thier creations off things we explored in my
campaigns. The easiest example happens to be the rail gun which looks
like the linear acceleration cannon (that I borrowed from old game),
and oddly enough was created by Bill (by a player in my Cendrian
campaign) back in the 1980's while trying out various possibilities
of magical weapons!
And do I mean exploring the possibilities in my campaigns, in that
very Star Corp campaign, a new player snatched up the D-gun and was
threatening a villian with it, when he was hurriedly asked by another
player "Hold it! How good are you at shooting with a laser pistol?
Because this is not the time to figure out what happens when you
*miss* with that thing - we're on a space station for cripes sake!!!"
