"What a guy."Dren said as Dirk shuffled off to illegally register him as a
crewmember.The minutes passed into hours, then into days, then weeks, months,
still no word from bell. Dren looked at his watch, it had only been thirty
seconds. In fact, he could still hear Dirk in the vents bumping his head.
Dren nodded back off to sleep....
--some time later
"Wake up." A voice called out. Dren opened one eye and saw Holly on a screen
outside his cell.
"Hey Holly, what's up?"Dren said.
"you're a third technician now."
"How?"
"Bell convinced me to fix the files, you're free to go. Oh, your wages will
be garnished for three months because of the intercomm business."
"That's Ok. Thanks Holly I owe you one."Dren says emphatically.
"One day I might call you on it, if I can ever figurer out anything you
wouldn't screw up."
Holly disappeared. Dren got out of bed and hollered for a gaurd. Tom came to
the cell.
"You've made a mistake, look at the roster, I'm on it."
"OK, I mean, no." Tom said.
"Dick."Dren retorted.
"No I'm Tom."
"Just get Harris to look over the crew roster."
Tom opened a channel to Harris, "Harris, this is dick, Tom, Tom. I need you
to come down here, I think We've got a false arrest case."
"I'll be there as soon as I can, I'm busy" replied Harris.
