Niples suddenly sat bolt upright in bed. "Oh my god!" he exclaimed. "Whatever happened to Jacob Stone?" He remembered that the man had been seen taking a starbug to the planet Argus, although he was never ordered there. That was why Niples had forgotten about him, there was no official record of him leaving the ship.
"Oh well, I'm sure he'll turn up..." said Niples and drifted back to sleep.
