too much time

Tara was in her quarters Alota was still on her shift and there was five hours till Tara had to be at Alota's quarters with Phil for the Robot building thing. Tara saw the disk of her new AI sitting on the table, she still hadn't set it up. She walked over to the table and picked up the disk. Tara put the disk into the slot on the wall under the screen for an AI's head/figure. It bleeped into life "This AI has been put into a new system. Do you want to  A) set up the AI B) wipe defected personality traits C) delete the system or D) other" said the voice "um A, set up the AI" said Tara after confused pause,
"action confirmed A) set up the AI"
"yup"
"configuring system files...... file configuration complete" the image of a woman blipped onto the screen
"Oh mighty master from the Space Time Continuum Police I am your servant in this computer how can I be of service?"
"I'm not from the STCP" said Tara now a little worried
"Oh I wondered why I hadn't been interrupted who are you? and can I be like a normal AI"
"Im Tara, and you are on the JMC mining vessel Blue Dwarf and sure why not"
"Oh, so I am I remember this period of time. But how the smeg did I get here?" so Tara set about the long process of what had happened since she acquired the disk from 'McKenzies' "oh... hey they'll be here by now yep their just... hang on... their leaving the store 'McKenzies' via a time portal"
"I'm going down there to take a look see ya"
"right then I'll look around these systems some more" and the image disappeared as Tara left her quarters.
Tara walked onto the promanard deck and looked around. There was a whole section that had been severely mangled by lots of ... well... stuff. Tara walked up to 'McKenzies' and over to Zack
"What the frell happened here?" she said
