OOC - My absence

Evening Blue Dwarf folks.

I apologise for my lengthy absence. I'm sorry to say it's likely to go on a little while longer yet, so I feel I owe you an explanation.

The other moderators are aware, but this isn't public knowledge so posting it on the internet probably isn't the wisest move, but so long as no-one posts on my facebook wall about this publicly I think we'll be ok.

(The reason for the secrecy is that my wife is dragging her heels in telling her family / friends and we don't want them hearing through rumour and social media)

But, to cut to the chase - the reason I'm currently out of action is that I've been having a rough time IRL.

Last month, totally out of the blue my wonderful, beautiful, beloved wife left me. Turned out, she'd been seeing someone else, I found out, and offered to forgive and move past it - but she chose him, and is moving out in 2 weeks, and taking our daughter with her (50% of the time at least)

It's really knocked me for six as it was totally unexpected. Needless to say, I'm not in a good place so will be away for a little longer yet.

In the meantime, Jay's an NPC - don't get a scratch on him.
