The band begins to play

The band were all set up on the stage, Joe stepped up to the microphone with
his recorder hanging round his neck.
Several (well in fact most) of the crew started Booing and hissing.
Joe laughed "Well, i see you all remember my performance at the karioke, but
i was drunk then and tonight i've just been on the milkshakes"
A little snigger came from Jay.
"Anyway, we're gonna start with a a bit of a slow one, by one of the
greatest singers of the 20th century, Frank Sinatra."
And so Joe began to sing.
"Fly me to the moon and let me, play amongst the stars, Let me see what
spring is like on Jupiter and Mars..."
The crowd looked up in amazement, when he wasn't completely paraletic Joe
had the voice of an angel. Several fights that had broken out (most started
by the security thugs, Tom, Dick and Harry)suddenly stoped. The whole band
was amazing, perfectly in time, not hitting any bum notes at all, even Joe's
recorder solo was good.
The song finished and the crowd went crazy, they all loved it, shout's of
"More" and "Wooohooo" went up from the room.
"Thank you, thank you all, and now please give it up, and welcome onto the
stage, everybody's favourite security officer.....Penny Lloyd"
"Thanks Joe" said Penny and launched into a version of 'Johnny be Good'
Everyone started dancing, even Major Harris appeared to be having a good
time.
The Blue Dwarf band actually appeared to be the best band this side of alpha
centuri, (in fact, 30 years later one of the crew released a dodgy bootleg
copy of the gig and made millions)that was until.....
