Re: THE BAND
Zodar finished setting up the tables (Which was quite hard, because
the bay was packed and he had to ask people to move.) and he walked
back over to Josh who was sitting down with a blank notepad.
"No one's put their name down." Josh said with a sigh.
"That's ok. Hey, what's this?" Zodar said, looking towards the stage.
Jay Chrysler, Joe Schweeble, Owen Numan, Stewie Mackenzie and Steev
MAckEnzyyyyyyyyyyy were setting up their instruments on stage.
"Looks like someone's taken the job on themself. Damn senior
officers, I wish I was that respected. I'm just a flippin' Crewman."
Zodar muttered to himself.
"You know what? Good. I want to enjoy the party." Zodar said out
loud, wiping his hands of the whole situation.
"Come on Josh, let's go get that drink." Zodar said, with authority.
"Sure, hey, I wonder if they're any good? You know, the band up
there..."
Zodar's answer shot back.
"Who cares."
Josh knew Zodar was being unreasonable.
"You know, in the morning, you'll see this differently."
"Oh yeah, I'll probably look back and laugh. Very funny. Ha ha."
The two arrived at the bar and ordered their drinks.
"Well if you're so annoyed about it, why don't you take an exam?"
"An exam?" Zodar was slightly interested.
"Yeah, depending on your result, you can increase your rank.
Considering there is a rank to fill." Josh explained.
"What do you mean?" Zodar was confused.
"Well, you can't go straight from Crewman to Captain, because Niples
is the Captain."
"Oh, right." Zodar understood completely...
"But if you're so sore about it, even one rank would be good."
Zodar's attitude had already lifted and a smile was creeping across
his face.
"You know, I might just think about it..."
OOC: Zodar isn't mad at the guys who are peforming, he's just mad
that he can't do anything about it (Because of his rank). There's no
grudge, so don't worry about it. :)
