Dren and Bell watched TV all night and drank beer. Dren passed out on the
floor and Bell slept in his own bed. Dren woke up around noon, his head was
killing him. Dirk sat on his bed watching Days of our Lives.
" what is that?" Dren asked
" The only thing on, smeg off."
"Touchy with a hangover I see. Well, up and at 'em we need to find the
captain, so I can get off this flying trash can and get my paycheck."
Bell rubs his head and grabs a bottle of asprin.
" Take a shower and then we'll go to the drive room." He says.
" Shower?" Dren smells his shirt and underarms, " I just put this on a day
ago."
"OK, you may not be into hygene but I am." Dirk heads into the shower.
While he's cleaning up Dren looks through Bell's wardrobe and finds a really
tacky hawain shirt. He changes out of the pink ruffles. Bell comes out in a
clean uniform.
" That's my shirt." Bell states.
" Yup, fits nice. let's go find Ahab."
" It's Niples."
"Whatever."
The two start thier trek to the drive room, there doesn't seem to be many
people about.
" Holly, where is everybody?" Bell calls out.
" I don't know, and don't call me holly." Dren says.
"I'm Holly, the ship's computer, he was speaking to me. Everyone's gathering
for a party in honor of Niples being promoted." Holly says.
"Holly knows everything that goes on in the ship." Bell boast.
" Then why didn't he know about me in stasis?" Dren ask.
" I did, I just didn't care." says Holly.
" Fair enough. Let's get to the shindig." Dren says.
