After Eve made it to the top she saw some lights and peeked above the edge to see some movement. As Eve tried to get a better look she lost her grip and began to float up to another level. Eve floated till she slowly bumped into some kind of grate panel for ventilation. As she looked around, she was freaked out by seeing some aliens plugged into some kind of biological hive along the walls. Eve had seen this kind of thing in her Sci-Fi shows so in a sense it was easier for her to guess on what she was looking at. Eve noticed the aliens were not moving and then slowly checked out one of the aliens to realize it was an empty suit. After looking around Eve pulled the suit off the wall and put it on. Eve was a bit grossed out as the inside of the suit was both smelly and greasy, but it was a small price to pay for her freedom. Eve was still feeling like crap and her voice was still down for the count so all she could do was disguise herself and wander the ship till she found the others.
"We harvest. For new code." The smaller one explained, it's language skills much better than the larger one.
"Code?” Jade queried.
"Life code, yes?" The creature nodded beatifically. "We have Ancient’s seed from those like you. Both species. Full code! Need more samples for code."
"You. Empty. No code. No growing. Why?" The larger one poked at her and Jade flinched away.
"I... I..." she stammered, thinking what the creatures meant. Then it dawned on her and her throat tightened into a sob.
"Explain empty." The larger one demanded. "Where code?" It tapped at some buttons and scans appeared. Jade recognised the other female crew members readouts. He pointed at them in turn. "Code. All have. Not you. Why?"
"Are you third type of code? Our experiments fail. We need working code. Are you secret third code?" The smaller one said.
"I dont have a womb... I have no eggs... I can't..." She trailed off, how could they understand.
"No live code?" The smaller one looked up and chittered in it's own language to the bigger one. It made a strange facial gesture, a frown if she had to guess.
"No. It was all taken from me. To save me. My... my code would have killed me." She couldn't think of any other way to explain it. How do you explain that cancer had taken your future away? That it had stolen that which makes you a woman.
"We talk. We return. Other experiments then." The smaller one said. It placed the water bottle down just out of reach and left after the larger one.

Eve walked down the oddly designed catwalks in the alien costume. The suit felt icky and smelled like dead stink bugs, but the sad irony is that the suit was not the worst thing she had to wear on a runway. Eve cringed as she remembered one fashion designer making her wear a green rancid meat bikini with a boa made of old green rotten sausage links. The job was to promote some artist named Lady Dada or something like that. Either that or it was for an anti-meat campaign, but it really didn’t matter since both were a flop either way. The only thing good about those events was that she looked good and landed a few more jobs for her owners. Eve was glad to rid of her owners since they were very unpleasant to her. They treated the dog better than her and it just slept and licked itself all day. Eve hated that dog since it always felt the need to pee on her shoes. The day that dog got hit by a car was one of the happiest days of her life. Seeing her owners cry and the dog dead was a major bonus for Eve since was finally able to sleep in peace.
As Eve stopped reminiscing from the past she saw some bug like guards at a table talking to a victim. It was hard to understand them with the helmet on her head but Eve didn’t want to get spotted so she waited till they left before she approached the victim. Eve tried to act casual as she walked towards the victim and as she got closer she was in shock to see it was Jade. Jade looked in bad shape and her fresh wounds would make it hard for her to escape at this point. Eve looked around and grabbed the water bottle and smelt it to make sure it was water before she offered it to Jade. Eve told Jade she managed to escape her prison and was looking for the others but only found Jade so far. Jade seemed to have trouble talking so she drank her water. After freeing Jade from her restraints Eve covered Jade with a blanket and tried to help the injured Jade walk away from the surgery table. As they manage to make their way into the shadows they heard footsteps approaching. So Eve and Jade hid in the shadows till the aliens walked by. Eve looked at the worn out doctor and whispered, “You look pretty bad doc. I wish I could help you but they took all of our stuff. So any idea where the others are?”
