Cassandra rudely interrupted, “Should I get out and walk so you two can be alone?” Evelina replied, “Sorry Miss Jones. By the way where are we going?” Cass replied, “Hold on a minute while I get directions.” After Cass pulled out her computer pad and looked up the directions to the meeting location she replied, “Ok Evelina just follow my directions and hopefully we can avoid any trouble.”

I was like staring at the road as Eve babe was totally driving and I thought "I wonder what my first meal will be when I get my righteous body back? I mean I could go for some Vegy Tacos….oh no how about some Vegy Pizza….oh wait Vegy Lasagna. Yeah Vegy Lasagna would be so cool. Yummmmmmmm…………That totally sounds so good. I wonder if Eve babe would like some? It would totally cool to share with her and all. I mean like she is totally awesome and stuff. I just hope I don’t like mess up this whole marriage thing with her. Cause like she really seems to like the idea and stuff. Oooooo what is that? It totally looks like a car with two wheels. I totally wonder what happened to the other two wheels? Did they like fall off or did they take them off? Maybe they like made it like that. I wonder if Eve babe would let me get one? Maybe I should like ask her?’ I looked at Eve babe as saw she was wickedly tense and stuff. I said, “Hey Eve babe chill on the tense vibes. Your totally driving most splendid and stuff.”

Evelina replied, “Sorry Jaxx I am just nervous about the whole situation. I’ll relax when we get home.” I thought about her words and realized Miss Jones stopped giving us directions.

That was Jaxx - I had forgotten that these stupid cars don’t drive themselves and that Eve needs directions
“The Skywalk should be signposted,” I murmur, my tongue weirdly feeling like it’s too large for my mouth “Just stay on the ninety three out of Boulder City for about eighty kilometres”

“What’s the road called?” Eve asks me, her blue eyes glancing up in the rear view mirror
She sounds tense

“Pierce Ferry” I whisper, my eyelids drooping
It’ll be nice to sleep

Jay apparently had little trouble shaking the police, and we all seemed to make it out of Las Vegas without any problems

I looked at Miss Jones and she was totally passed out. Then I looked at Eve babe and said, “Hey Eve babe where do you like want to put our pictures of our most righteous adventure?” Evelina relaxed a bit as she quietly drove thinking of an answer. Then she answered, “You know Jaxx maybe we should get them scanned by Holly and put on a digital photo album on the dresser.” I was not sure what that was so I asked, “What’s a Digi Pro Alum Eve babe?” Evelina giggled as she replied, “Oh Jaxx it’s like a mini tele that shows and changes the pictures for a few seconds at a time.” I thought about what Eve babe said for a few moments as my mind was drawing a picture in my head. Suddenly it totally made sense to me, we could like look at the tele album and see the whole book of pictures. So I replied, “Sweet Eve babe that sounds awesome.” Evelina smiled as she replied, “Thanks Jaxx. You have a way of making me feel better.” I asked, “Say Eve babe so like what did you want to do when we get home and stuff?” Evelina replied, “Well we need to get you back in your body first and depending on how long you take to recover I was hoping for a honeymoon that we could remember.” I though to myself, “I like the way Eve babe is talking oh wait what did she say?” I asked, “Hey Eve babe what’s a honeymoon?” Evelina replied, “Well its like a vacation for just the married couple to help them relax and get to know each other more.”

I thought, “Eve babe like looked a little red in the face and stuff when she said that. I wonder if I like said something uncool.” I asked, “Hey Eve babe how do we like get to know each other more? I mean like is there more stuff I like need to know?” Evelina was a bit embarrassed as she replied, “Lets just keep this as a surprise till then ok Jaxx?” I thought, “Well I guess I can wait for the surprise and stuff. I wonder if its candy or Vegy Lasagna or even an exercise machine….that would be awesome.” Evelina spoke up, “Hey Jaxx it looks like we are here go ahead and wake up Cass.”

Cass awoke with a start as the Escalade slowed to a halt in starlit darkness, her hand moving involuntarily up to her face before curling down behind her head
“Where are we?” she croaked, wincing in pain as she struggled upright to gaze out of the windows at darkened the parking lot and the shadowy desert landscape surrounding them
"Grand Canyon West" Eve replied as she switched the engine off “The Skywalk”
“It looks closed” Jaxx observed
"I guess there's not much to see when it's dark" Cass murmured as she fumbled to check her weapons "Is anyone else here?"
“There are a few other cars over there” Eve nodded "I think that flashy looking yellow one's Jay's"
"Figures" Cass smiled and leaned across to open the door “Ow” she grimaced, clutching her side as she kicked the door open and struggled out into the chilly desert air
Gingerly taking a deep breath, she took a moment to gaze up in wonder at the brilliantly starry night sky before shaking her head and pulling her coat sleeve back to check the nanosuit diagnostics. Eventually satisfied with what the readout was telling her, she tugged her sleeve back down and pulled a communicator out of her coat pocket
“Jay?” she asked as Jaxx and Evelina pushed their own doors open and climbed out of the Escalade “Anyone around?”
“Cass!” Jay sounded pleasantly relieved “Are you okay?”
“I’ll live. Where are you?”
“We broke into the tourist centre” Jay replied “We’re due to meet Khan and Williams out on the skywalk in five minutes”
“On my way” Cass shut the communicator off and turned to look at Jaxx and Eveline “Coming?”

As the small group made their way out onto the depressingly unimpressive curve of the glass floored skywalk a few minutes later, the two renegades de-cloaked not far in front of them, Khan holding up a couple of tiny glass vials
“Two doses of antidote” he smiled, his teeth stark white against the blackness of his beard “You have the rifle?”
“Do this quickly” Williams snapped, unslinging her own rifle but keeping it aimed at the floor
“We’ve got your rifle alright” Jay turned and beckoned to Katrina who pulled the weapon out from within a gun bag and held it up for their scrutiny
“Excellent” Khan smiled beatifically and stepped forward to proffer the antidote while expectantly holding his other hand out for the rifle “Shall we proceed with business?”
“Too late!” Williams yelled above the sudden roar of a half dozen helicopters as walkway was suddenly illuminated from multiple angles, the spotlights dancing across the glass floor
“This is the CIA” an amplified voice boomed out of the darkness “You are all under arrest. Put your hands up behind your head and get down on your knees. Failure to comply with this request will result in your immediate execution!”

As Eve babe and I watched the two future jerks trying to trade off the medicine for the rifle were freaking out by the airship with the bright light. Suddenly I realized if we don’t get that medicine back Arty and Boyd are totally gonna be pushing up the daisies. If that happens we like can’t go home and Eve babe won’t show me the surprise and I really really want to see my SURPISE!!!!! AND THESE TWO JERKS ARE GONNA LIKE MESS IT UP FOR ME!!!!! NOT COOL BRO!!!!! NOT COOL!!!!!! AAAAARRRRRRRRHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I muttered, “Not happening bro!” as I set one holowhip to max stun and the other to the lightest setting. Then with my mean whip I snapped the future bad guys hand and make him toss the glass tubes in the air as I use my weak whip to wrap around them and pull them to Eve babe as I say, “catch Eve babe. The Evil future chick tried to aim her rifle at Eve babe so I wrapped my mean whip around her rifle and burned her hands as I pulled it away from her and yelled in my Darth Vader voice, “Do not underestimate the power of the Shark Side Beeotch!” The Evil future dude tried to pull out his pistol so I juiced up both whips to max setting and lashed up his face and hands till he dropped his gun and fell backwards in pain. Jay interrupted, “Jaxx!!! We need to get out of here NOW!!!
