“Got it..” Jay said, and took a sharp right and when the dealership came into view, he swung sideways, smashing into the showrooms front windows, braking hard in the van, until he came to rest, bumping into the back wall.
“Split up!” he ordered. “Eve, get Cass out of here” he grabbed a set of car keys off the hook behind the desk and tossed it to Evelina. “Kenneth, Kat…head in the opposite direction from them….I’ll try to lead the cops away…”
He threw another set of keys to Katrina, and grabbed a set for himself. Katrina tossed him the pulse rifle before turning and jumping into the drivers seat of a Camaro.
Jay clambered into a Corvette. “Rendevous in 3 hours at the Grand Canyon tourist centre…” he said, and screeched out of the showroom…”

As Skutter Jaxx and Eve held the injured Cassandra out of the van, Evelina pushed the disarm button on the keypad. Evelina saw a black Escalade flash its lights and beep to turn off the alarm and replied, “Jaxx we need to take her to the black vehicle over there.” Skutter Jaxx replied, “Sure Eve babe.” Skutter Jaxx, Evelina and Cassandra managed to make their way to the brand new Escalade and headed out of the parking lot. Evelina was driving while Jaxx was in the passenger seat and Cassandra was lying down in the middle seat. As Evelina was tensely driving the Escalade, Skutter Jaxx asked, “Hey Eve babe try to chill out. You look totally tense and stuff.” Evelina replied, “I know Jaxx I’m sorry. I’ll try to get a grip.” Skutter Jaxx said, “Your were like totally cool on that last mission though Eve babe. Ya see you can be most righteous when ya have to be and stuff.” Evelina gave a small chuckle as she looked at Skutter Jaxx for a moment and back at the road. Skutter Jaxx cocked his claw head to the side and asked, “Do I like have something on my face Eve babe?” Evelina smiled as she replied, “Oh….um……I was just thinking how my situation with my confidence is small compared to you being stuck in the body of a skutter and yet you are more concerned about me.” Skutter Jaxx replied, “Don’t sweat it Eve babe, I like thinking about ya and stuff.”

Cassandra rudely interrupted, “Should I get out and walk so you two can be alone?” Evelina replied, “Sorry Miss Jones. By the way where are we going?” Cass replied, “Hold on a minute while I get directions.” After Cass pulled out her computer pad and looked up the directions to the meeting location she replied, “Ok Evelina just follow my directions and hopefully we can avoid any trouble.”
