Evelina asked, “Because your were trapped in a skutter body?” “Jaxx replied, “Nawww Eve babe. I mean cause I was like in a broken skutter body and it was blown away from the burnt computer on the wall. After that I had to work my way back to find you guys and that was a whole other adventure right there.” Evelina shed a tear of happiness as she hugged Jaxx and muttered, “Thank you for keeping your promise Jaxx. I was scarred I would never see you again.” Jaxx replied, “My bad Eve babe I will try do better next time.” Jay interrupted as she said, “It looks like we are here. Everyone check your gear and weapons and Jaxx get in contact with Plisken to let him know we are in position.”

After everyone was armed and ready to go Jay said, “Alright guys from what it looks like the node is somewhere in that Plantation over there. From what I can guess we can expect anywhere from fifty to a hundred farm workers plus the family that owns the farm that are probably infected. Since we are low on ammo try to make each shot count and Jaxx try NOT to get us killed……..again.” Jaxx replied in a monotone voice, “I said I was like sorry bro.” Cass smirked as she said, “You know he is gonna destroy something anyway. “ “Jay rolled his eyes up and muttered, “I know I know.” Evelina replied, “Hey stop picking on Jaxx. He has been through a lot.” Katrina interrupted, “We need to focus people. Lets go already.” Jade sighed, as she did not want to go to the spooky Plantation in the dark.

Jay led the crew as quietly as possible to the Plantation as they snuck around the fields. Jay, Cass and Katrina stealthily approached the large Plantation house with the experience of commandos, unlike Jade, Evelina and Skutter Jaxx who barley managed not to get noticed despite the awkward noises they were making. As Cass and Jay approached the door they noticed it was open and made an “Oh crap face” at the same time. After everyone was by the door Jay, Cass and Katrina snuck into the house first to take out any surprises, only to find no one there. Jay whispered, “I have a bad feeling about this.” Cass whispered, “Either we are at the wrong place or this is a trap.” Jade nervously whispered, “So what now?” Evelina whispered, “Hey Jaxx do you sense anything around us?” Jaxx used all the different scanners installed in him by Alex, Jamie and Artemis to cover heat, sound, light and motion but found nothing at all as he replied, “Nope I got nuttin Eve babe. Its like they are not hear and stuff.”

Jay pulled out his damaged spider and tried to think of something as he looked at it in the plastic bag. Katrina asked, “Any ideas Jay?” Jay sighed, as he had no reply to give. Skutter Jaxx looked at the spider with his scanners and then asked, “That’s one gnarly looking bug Jay dude. So that’s the spider things we need to kill?” Jay was annoyed as he replied, “Yes Jaxx.” Skutter Jaxx then asked, “So how do you normally kill spiders?” Jay sighed as he replied; “You normally just poison their nest when you find it.” Skutter Jaxx asked, “So where do they normally keep their nests?” Jay was still annoyed as he replied, “If they are out in the open you spray the nests but if they hide it in a dark…….(pause)……..place.” Cass asked, “You don’t think they are in the cellar do you?” Kat replied, “Only one way to find out.” Jay smiled at Jaxx as he replied, “Thanks for making it simple Jaxx.” Evelina hugged Skutter Jaxx and whispered, “Good Job Jaxx.”

After some searching in the empty house Cass found the cellar. It was dark and spooky and quickly made Jade very nervous. Jaxx looked down the dark stairwell and ran his scanners and replied, “Not sure what it is Jay dude, but I sense slight movement and faint echoes.” Jay looked at the crew and said, “Ok guys we don’t know what is down there but it will most likely be a trap. If you have any concerns now would be the time to bring them up. They were interrupted by a voice on Katrina’s radio.

"Hello? Is anyone there?" Jamie came over the radio, Katrina picked up the radio and tuned it to phase out any static. "Hello? Jamie?" "We took out the first node. Artie says to use electricity to overload the brain. Also, Jacky says that the infected are going to converge on the next node if you don't take it out soon. We're too far away to be any help, so we'll hold down here for now" "Alright Jamie, Katrina out"
