OOC - For Alex

After Holly led Jaxx to the tia chi room Jaxx smiled as he approved. “This pad is stupendous Holly dude.” Holly answered, “No problem dude. The other crewmates don’t talk to me much these days. So it was nice to chat for a while.” Jaxx said, “No problemo Holly dude. You are most wise and awesome.” Holly smiled and then said, “Thanks dude, but I gotta go Mrs. Jones needs me. Bye.” After Holly left Jaxx stood in the middle of the room and pulled out the holowhips and began practicing his Calamar techniques with the whips for several hours.

After several hours of intense Calamar training and several red marks on his body Jaxx was feeling fatigued and sore. Jaxx turned off his holowhips and holstered them as he said, “Time for a most need break. This would be a most awesome time to try those sweet food machines Holly showed me earlier.” Then Jaxx wiped the sweat from his face and headed out the door to find some vending machines. Unfortunately it didn’t take Jaxx long to get lost during his search. “Not cool man. Not cool. Like all the halls and rooms look the same and stuff. All I wanted was some water and a snack.” Jaxx sighed as he continued to walk the halls till he found a row of vending machines. “Score!”, said Jaxx with a bit of excitement. A smile grew on Jaxx’s face as he looked at each machine till he chose one that had dried banana chips and another with energy drinks. Jaxx quickly opened his drink and snacks and began gorging away. After Jaxx finished he smiled with relief as he said, “Daddy likes. I like totally needed that grub man. Now I can get back to practice as soon as ………” Jaxx was interrupted by some rumbling nearby.

Jaxx quietly listened and followed the noise to a room labeled "Mail Room". Jaxx opened the door slightly and saw a small light in the dark room. After hearing a familiar voice, Jaxx opened it all the way. The room had several metal storage containers labeled “Mail Only” on the side. Inside one of the open crates was Mr. Alex Solvay sitting down and simulating like he was piloting a ship of sorts. Jaxx watched in awe as Alex said, “Ahhhh SMEG! This bloody rust bucket aint’t worth the bullet ta put er down wit. Come on baby just hold on till we get back to tha planet. I’m comin for ya Bedgy ol boy. Ole’ Alex will get ya fixed right up and an in a hurry.” It was then that Jaxx saw that Alex was wearing a nasty sweat and rust covered t-shirt, jogging pants and shoes. Alex was also wearing a woman’s bra over his eyes like a pair of goggles and using a pry bar with a flashlight taped to it as a steering device. Jaxx was slightly entertained by Alex’s fantasy as he watched Alex act like he was reentering the atmosphere from a mail box. Alex bounced around the box to simulate a rough landing. Alex yelled, “OUCH! Dammit”, as he bumped his head into the side of the crate several times.

Jaxx smiled at Alex who clearly off his rocker and couldn’t see him. Then Alex said, “Smeg on! I’m here! Now to find Bedgy and those dinosaurs.” Alex tried to stand up but his legs kept getting caught on the boxes latching parts. Jaxx stood near the side of Alex as he asked, “Hey Alex dude like whatcha doin?” Alex freaked out as he yelled, “Arrrrrrghhh!! You not puttun me in that ring again Dammit!” Then Alex raised his pry bar and tried to attack Jaxx. Jaxx just watched as Alex got his shoelaces caught in the boxes latching and tripped over face first onto the floor. Jaxx looked at Alex for a minute then asked, “Alex dude are ok?” Alex was completely out cold as he half slumped over the mailbox on the floor. Then Jaxx carefully removed the Alex’s pry bar and gently unhooked his shoelace from the mailbox.

After Alex was free Jaxx then picked up him up and carried him out of the room. Jaxx looked around as he remembered he was now lost. After a minute of thinking, Jaxx remembered something. Jaxx asked, “Hey Holly dude can you help me find Doc B’s office?” Holly appeared on Jaxx’s watch and answered, “What’s up dude?” Jaxx smiled at Holly as he said, “Sorry ta bug ya bro but Alex dude ain’t doin so good. Can ya help me take him to the Doc?” Holly looked at Alex then smiled, “Sure why not.” Holly and Jaxx talked a bit as he guided Jaxx through the corridors and back to the Med Bay. Holly said, “Well here ya are gents. Well Mr. Jaxx I’d love ta chat more but Mrs. Jones still needs me. Ta Ta.” Then Holly disappeared.

Jaxx stepped up to the Med Bay and the door opened and Jaxx saw Dr. Black was checking over Jay. Jaxx stepped into the office and said, “Sorry ta bug ya Doc but, Alex dude ain’t doin so well.” Jade turned around with concern as she rushed over to see Alex and check his vitals. Dr. Black looked Alex over and said, “Jaxx be a dear and help me get these dirty clothes off him.” Jaxx looked at Dr. Black confused and said, “Why Doc?” Dr. Black answered, “If he is wounded they will only infect him more. Just the bra, shirt, pants and shoes I’ll deal with his smalls if need be.” Jaxx nodded and helped Dr. Black remove all Alex’s clothes except his shorts.

That’s when Jade saw Alex’s stomach was now bleeding and the skin was green. Dr. Black muttered, “Ahhh smeg. His staples are infected. Jaxx be a dear and put him on that table over there.” Jaxx nodded as he placed Alex on the table. Then Dr. Black looked Alex over as she asked, “So how did you find Alex? Please let me know everything you saw.” Jaxx nodded as he said, “Well Doc I was looking for a snack machine when I totally heard noises and talking in the mail room. Then I like snuck in and saw the Alex dude sitting in the metal box dressed like he was. He was like totally playing pilot dude and say he was gonna save Bedgy and something about dinosaurs. I think he misses the robot dude we left behind. Then like when I asked him what’s up he totally freaked out and stuff then he like tripped and did a radical face plant on the floor. It was kinda funny.”

Jade nodded as she replied, “Sounds like he was hallucinating. I bet these staples got infected on the planet and the poor man has been enduring the pain all this time.” Jaxx looked at Dr. Black and asked, “It’s kinda cool that ya like him Doc, but uhhhh.” Dr. Black looked at Jaxx sternly and said, “Jaxx is there something you want to share? Jaxx nervously waved his hands at Dr. Black as he muttered, “Uhhhhh..…..well……I ain’t as smart as you and the others, but I like don’t think the Alex dude likes himself.” Dr. Black sighed as she nodded and said, “I thought it was me he didn’t like.” Jaxx said, “Naaah Doc I think ya go it wrong.” Dr. Black looked at Jaxx curiously as he said, “I only known the Alex dude for a short time so I could be wrong, but he is usually a jerk to like everyone, except Mrs. Jones and you Doc. I like have no clue why he is always so grumpy but for a small time when he was around you he smiled.”

Dr. Black looked at Jaxx in shock. Jaxx’s child like observations impressed Dr. Black as she said, “Thank you Jaxx. Could you be a dear and check the clothes for any personal belongings before I test them for samples? ” Jaxx nodded and checked the clothes till he found a sweat smeared note in a pocket.

Mr Frowny, sorry I had to go. I didn't want to wake you, saves all the awkwardness as well. Don't forget to take the pills. Eat something, drink a lot of water and you'll be fine. Don't feel too unwell for too long, come get me for a coffee if/when you feel up to it.

Jaxx stood up and walked over to Dr. Black and said, “Hey Doc I like found a note in his pocket but, I can’t read it so well.” Dr. Black looked at the note and said, “Oh I left it for Alex earlier. You can throw it away.” Then Jaxx nodded as he said, “Ok Doc, but you totally write worse than me. I like can barley read it cause I totally don’t read so good but it says you want him to like stay away from ya.” Jaxx dropped the note in a nearby small waste can and said, “Well Doc unless ya like need anything else I need to go back to training.” Jade smiled at Jaxx and said, “No and thank you Jaxx. You have been very helpful.” Jaxx left the Med Bay and headed back to his training room.
