After that Evelina help Jaxx to a nearby unused and empty sleeping quarters. Jaxx managed to get on the lower bunk and under the covers as he smiled at a concerned Evelina. Evelina whispered in Jaxx's ear, "Good night Jaxx and thanks for everything." As she pulled away she noticed he was now asleep.

Jaxx drifted off into a deep sleep. His body and mind were completely worn out. As his mind began to wander off he found himself walking on the beach at night to a small campfire. The air was cool and the sound of the waves echoed in the distance. Jaxx was confused as he looked around to see if he was alone. Then Jaxx sat on a small wooden log by the fire to warm up. He sat alone listening to the waves in the distance. Suddenly Jaxx was startled by a voice from behind him. "You seem to be troubled Jaxx. Something on your mind?" ,said Davie Jones. Jaxx dropped his jaw in shock at the sight of Davie. Davie shook his head and said, "You were always a bit slow."

Jaxx muttered, "But.....but.....but your dead. I saw you.." Davie interrupted, "Of course I am you git. This is just a dream." Jaxx closed his mouth as he answered, "Oh. My bad bro. So why are you here?" Davie sat on a nearby log by Jaxx and warmed up by the fire. Jaxx looked at Davie and said, "I'm sorry you died bro." Davie answered, "I know Jaxx it wasn't your fault. Those Haruk were bad customers." Jaxx then lowered his head to stare at the ground.

Another voice came from beside Jaxx and startled him. "Oceans to Murgatroyd even. You look like girl that was dumped on prom night even." ,said Franky. Jaxx looked up and saw Franky the Squid. Jaxx muttered, "Franky? How did you get here?" Franky answered, "Oceans to Murgatroyd even. I swam of course dear boy."

Jaxx looked around and saw another shadow emerge from the darkness. It was a huge humanoid shark monster wearing prison chains that walk up to the fire and sat across the way of Jaxx. Jaxx was very confused as he looked around. Davie said, "Well it looks like we are all here now. So lets start the meeting." Franky replied, "Of course even." The shark monster nodded. Jaxx looked at everyone with confusion.

Davie said, "Jaxx you brought us here to to answer some questions that you are to afraid to ask. We are just figments of your mind that represent parts of your life. I represent your life with the crew." Franky said, "I represent your new path as a Calamar Apprentice even." Then Jaxx looked at the shark monster and asked, "What is he?" Davie answered, "He is your past that still haunts you." Jaxx didn't know what to say as he was very confused and looked down. Then Jaxx looked up and asked, "So what am I suppose to do bro?" Davie answered, "You are what you are Jaxx, but you need to decide what path is best for you. Do you choose the path of a Calamar Monk which is hard and long or the path of your past which will grant you instant power you can't control."

Jaxx thought for a moment and said, "If I had the power I could have saved you Davie." Davie responded, "Perhaps but at what cost? During your past frenzies you almost killed the crew several times yourself." Jaxx thought long and hard before saying, "So if I choose instant power I might hurt Eve babe." Suddenly a ghostly image of a smiling Evelina appeared next to Davie. Davie looked at Evelina and said, "True. Your unchecked rage puts everyone in danger, even her." Jaxx looked at Franky , the monster shark, then Davie and finally at Evelina. Evelina began walking toward Jaxx and became solid as she got closer. Evelina looked at Jaxx with a smile. Jaxx nervously muttered, "I'm scared Eve babe. What do I do?" Evelina pulled Jaxx's head to her stomach and hugged him. Jaxx slowly hugged Evelina's legs as he finally felt peace. Then Evelina sat next to Jaxx and leaned on his shoulder.

Davie said, "Keep in mind your decision will affect everyone around you so choose wisely." Jaxx nodded and asked, "So if I choose one will the other vanish?" "Oceans to Murgatroyd even. You are talking silly even. Which ever you choose will be for paving your future. Your past has already been written even." Then Jaxx looked at Evelina and said, "Then I like choose the path of Franky bro. I can't risk hurting Eve babe.

Davie said, "Well then it has been decided." The shark monster stood up and pointed at Jaxx and said in a scary voice, "You haven't seen the last of me boy. " Suddenly the chains holding the shark monster began pulling it back into the sea as it struggled. After the shark monster disappeared into the sea the sun began to rise. Jaxx looked around and saw Davie and Franky disappeared. Jaxx looked at a sleeping Evelina on his shoulder and then at the sun rise. Jaxx felt like a huge weight was lifted from his chest for the first time as he smiled and said, "This is me breathing."
