Stumbling rather than flying

Evelina stared at what she had to go through just to get decent food and bed. And then to Jaxx, " Hey Jaxx don't worry bout the Huzzards, but I'm gonna have a go at this mean lean assault course." She turned back to face the first obstacle. " Hey Eve babe , er you sure you want to do that, it looks kinda dangerous." She turned back to Jaxx ," I'm going to get food and a bed, so I'm going to do that assault course, I either make it or I die trying." This time she turned round and took a few steps and half leap, half stumbled across the flaming fire pit. " You weren't suppose to start yet!" Justin whined. " We'll I have and I'm not crossing back across that pit." She turned and carried on along the course.
