The three humans and their Ssala companions scrambled over the viewing balcony and down onto the sand on the arena floor to dash through the smoke and violence surrounding them, making their way towards the centre of the amphitheatre where the entrance to the sewers was located
Before they had even got part way, a massive dinosaur loomed out of the smoke, towering high above them

As Cass, Garth, Jamie and a few Ssala were running back to the sewer Jaxx and Evelina were making a smoke screen to help them escape. Then the two GELFs quickly followed the others. Jaxx tried to dump as much debris on the floor to trip any Haruk chasing them. The two GELFs managed to make it through the service quarters with little resistance. However, as soon as Jaxx ran through the exit first he was knocked to the ground by the forearm of a very pissed off Haruk. The Haruk raised his spiked club in the air to crush Jaxx's head in as he made a sinister laugh.
"Oh Crap, "muttered Jaxx as he tried to cover up for the hit. Just then Evelina blasted the Haruk in the face with her extinguisher leaving him temporarily blind. Jaxx took this opportunity to raise his legs and double stomp the Haruk in the knees as hard as he could. The loud popping sound on the knees of the Haruk was a clear indicator of how much damage Jaxx did to the Haruk's manhood. Evelina helped Jaxx up as he said, "We do not want to be here when he wakes up." Evelina nodded as they began running for the sewers until they saw the large dinosaurs being mounted by the other crew members. Jaxx and Evelina raced to catch up with the crew as they dodged the Haruk on the way.
Eventually Jaxx and Evelina caught up with one the dinosaurs. Jaxx grabbed the rope and Evelina to help her climb up first. After Evelina was making progress Jaxx tried to climb up the rope but was delayed when a few Haruk were holding his legs. Jaxx tried to shake them off but only knocked one of them off before his rope snapped. Evelina was shocked as she saw Jaxx and a Haruk fall thirty feet to the ground and disappear in the crowd of combatants.
