Jaxx hurried to catch up with Evelina as he said, "Wait Eve! I'm sorry but I'm like totally nervous about taking on the blue dudes. They are pretty intense and I lost all my mad fighting skills with my memory." Eveline looked at Jaxx and saw the fear in his eyes then said, "It ok if your scarred Jaxx. I am scarred to." Jaxx shook his head and said, "Naw naw naw Eve. You don't understand. I'm not afraid for myself. If I die today I have no regrets, but if you die today that would totally crush my spirit." Eveline looked at Jaxx with a surprised look. Jaxx looked at Eve with a smile and said, "Your a cool babe Eve and I was hoping we could be friends and it would totally suck if you got spammed in that cave." Eve was about to speak when they heard a loud crashing sound in the distance.

Eve and Jaxx looked at the direction the falling object came from. Eveline said, "What the Smeg was that?" Jaxx answered, "I don't know. Should we check it out?"

The roar of the retros cut out. The pod having been slowed from terminal speeds began to decend at an angle towards where Jay and Davie were stood. The beasts unaware at the proximity of death from above began to look around confused at the confidence of their prey and the odd noises.

"Now!" Jay yelled, diving as far as he could out of the path of the decending object. It fell with a wet, sliding crunch, coming to a complete stop several hundred yards after the impact point.

Jade emerged from the pod and looked around. The bloody trench in the earth, the trees, the clean air.
