ENTER THE MACO

Meanwhile in a secret lab on the Blue Dwarf….

Jaxx is in the middle of using two large war hammers to smash cute little moles that pop their heads from small moon craters. The moles giggle and wiggle as they pop out nonstop. Jaxx is laughing manically as he continues to pound the same moles over and over again. Now and then Jaxx would quickly glance at the large scoreboard behind the moles to see his score. Jaxx got excited as he saw he getting close to breaking his old record.

Jaxx used his new excitement to focus on his smashing the cute little moles with more intensity as they popped up non-stop at amazing speeds. Jaxx said, “Get ready folks for I am about to break my old record and continue my reign as the Wack-A-Mole King. And the crowd is going wild with anticipation as Jaxx is a few more whacks away from an Epic moment in history.” Jaxx hammered the moles with a frenzied fury of violence. Jaxx looked up at the scoreboard and he was so close he could taste the victory at hand.

Jaxx hammered on for a few more minutes as he saw the scoreboard and grinned with his shark teeth exposed. Jaxx said, ”Well folks we are at the final stretch of this tournament and Jaxx is on the verge of a new galactic record. Get ready for the final count down fans: 9….8….7…6…5…4…3…2…1….YEAHHHHH!!!!!!! And the crowd goes wild for the awesomeness that is JAXX the Wack-A-Mole King. The legend lives on and he will forever be EPIC.” Jaxx continued to do a victory dance in his baby blue opened robe, plaid boxers and pink bunny slippers as the victory bell was ringing from the scoreboard.

Suddenly Holly interrupted the Jaxx in mid dance. Holly’s head appeared on the scoreboard as he said, “Well done Master Chief Jaxx I didn’t know this game could even go to 3 billion. You must be proud.” Jaxx looked at Holly and asked “And who are you?” Holly smiled and responded, “I am the ship’s AI, my name is Holly. You were put in stasis for a bit while you mastered your virtual training. However, I had to keep you in a bit longer than planned due to a small radiation leak.” Jaxx looked at Holly confused and asked’ “How much longer are we talking about, a few days or a few weeks?” Holly gave a slight grin and responded, “Well it is a little closer to three actually.” Jaxx sighed in relief as he said, “Oh so 3 weeks then.” Holly made a wincing face as it responded, “It’s a bit higher than that I’m afraid.” Jaxx looked at Holly with concern and asked, “Are we saying three months”?

Holly winced again and answered, “A bit longer than that.” Jaxx raised his eyebrows and said, “Three years.” Holly looked awkward as he said, “Still a bit higher.” Jaxx grew impatient as he said, “Just how many years are we talking?” Holly smiled nervously as it responded, “Well more like three million of them.” Jaxx’s jaw dropped in a state of shock by Holly’s answer and remained perfectly still. Holly waited for a response from Jaxx for a good while before saying, “Do close your mouth it is unsanitary and you look like the catch of the day at an all you can eat sushi bar. Besides look at the bright side, you set a galactic record on Virtual Wack-A-Mole.” Jaxx snapped out of his shock and pondered his situation.

Then Jaxx looked at Holly and asked, “Did any of the crew survive as well or am I the only one?” Holly smiled and answered, “Well some of the crew did managed to get into stasis before the incident, but there are a few changes to the staff. However, since you never meet the crew to begin with, you won’t have to learn as many names now.” Jaxx looked at Holly with concern and asked, “I finished my training long ago. Why am I being released from stasis now instead of earlier?” Holly smiled and answered, “Oh that’s a simple one.” Holly remained quiet for a while till Jaxx spoke up and asked, “Well???????” Holly then spoke up and said, “Oh right then. I forgot you were here.” Jaxx shook his head and sighed as he said, “Alright just free me from stasis so I can get to work setting up the defenses.” Jack starts walking away as Holly pondered for a bit and then said, “Alright then but you might want to help save the crew from the immediate danger they are in first.” Jaxx stopped in his tracks and turned to question Holly, only to see Holly had vanished and the scoreboard turned into a medical scan of his vitals and a count down to the releasing of his stasis. “Bloody Git,” said Jaxx.

Jaxx watched as the timer counted down and then the lights went black. Jaxx then woke up in a large clear cylinder water tank with a helmet on. Jaxx adjusted the helmet so he could see and looked around to see no one in the lab. Then Jaxx saw the lid above him open so Jaxx swam up and climbed out of the water tank. Then Jaxx took off his helmet and realized he was in his birthday suit as he passed a mirror. Jaxx looked himself over and proceeded to flex his mussels and retractable fins. The Jaxx groomed his hair and smiled as he said, “You are one sexy beasty.” Jaxx blew himself a kiss in the mirror and looked around to see a locker with his name on it. Jaxx walked over to the locker and opened it to find body armor designed for him and some other gear such as a Bazookoid, Bazookoid Pistol, a battle hatchet, a survival knife, a communications watch, a first aid pouch and a survival pouch. Jaxx wasted no time suiting up and arming himself. He looked around for the exit only to see a box of toaster bars on the counter. Jaxx walked over and examined the box. Suddenly the toaster spoke up and said, “Would you like some toast?” Jaxx quickly jumped back and pointed his gun at the toaster. The toaster then spoke up again, “There is no need for violence my friend. I’m just here to make you some toasted treats.” Jaxx looked at the box and then the toaster and asked, “Can you toast theses?” as he showed the box to the toaster. The toaster then answered, “Sure thing friend just open them up and load them in and I’ll have them ready in a jiff.” Jaxx followed the instructions and loaded the pastries into the toaster. In a few seconds the toaster served Jaxx his hot pastries and Jaxx proceeded to gobble them down his gullet since he was feeling a bit hungry. Jaxx looked at the toaster and said, “Thanks mate I was feeing a bit peckish for a bit there. Well I hate to eat and run but duty calls.” Then Jaxx quietly open the door and exited the lab to find the rest of the crew.

OOC- Since I am new to the ship feel free to have Jaxx enter at an awkward moment.
