The Coward Awakens

Jacky Kong awoke finally from his 3 million (or so) year rest, and ejected from the stasis booth with all the grace of a rock tumbling off of a cliff. He shot a glance around his surroundings, and noticed that there was an unsettling calm. None of the people he had just been surrounded with were there anymore. He thought about this a great deal as he wandered, though he had no idea where he was attempting to go. In his absent-mindedness, he tripped over a group of people lying on the floor, dropping his goggles. He picked them up very quickly, and inspected for dents of any kind, before coming to the realization that there was a group of unconscious people on the floor. It occurred to him that he should, perhaps, value that over his goggles (which were fine, by the way). He got on his knees and began shaking them all furiously, slapping them in the face, and screaming at them. He had no idea who these people were supposed to be, but if they could shed some light on the situation, he'd need them to get up.
