Major, I suggest we pull out at once!" Harris heard Lloyd say over
the com.
"See if you can get that pilot out of there, if you can't... leave
him!" Harris told Lloyd.
"Yes, Gov." Lloyd replied and then the line went dead.
"What?!" WW said in utter shock.
"We leave. Before that missile has a chance to go off." Harris
ordered the hamster. "NOW!"
"You give up to easy, Harris. There's probably enough time us to take
some action, otherwise the gelf's would be fleeing the building
instead of carrying that missile around. Now, I've got a plan that
should still give us enough time to get out before the missile
explodes and save Jay at the same time, if you'll just hear me out."
"Alright, I'm listening!" barked Harris while looking extremely
displeased.
The huge hamster reached into his cheek pouch and pulled out a can of
industrial coolant. "Going full out, I've run a mile in just under a
minute. So if you ride on my back, I can easily run the whole
distance to where Penny and Scweeble are because we both know this
base ain't nearly that large. And we can switch these cannons to
their third setting, High, so anything we shoot should be seriously
injured by the projectiles going at mach 2, and will thus prevent
anybody from trying to stop us. And with us providing suppression
fire, Penny and Scweeble can easily defeat the gelfs and rescue Jay.
Next, Penny can adminster this coolant to freeze the timer mechanism,
when frozen, it'll delay the count down for five minutes. It won't be
enough time for us to disable the explosive, but it will be enough
time for us *all* to get out even if I have to carry each and every
one of you. Unfortunately, you'll have to just trust me on run the
through the maze of traps on the way there first. So you up to riding
and going in shooting like an old west cowboy, Mr. Harris?"
