Conflicting holograms
When: Just after Legion's spacestation crashed
Justin didn't need a spacesuit, so pirouhetted and danced in space without the cumbersome and restrictive suit. He floated and tried to do front crawl, and then breast stroke (which made him think of lovely breasts).
As they flew through space towards the Blue Dwarf Justin noticed a trickle of water coming out of the lower decks, but didn't think much of it until later.
He followed them through the Blue Dwarf's large metal doors and into the shuttlebay where he tripped and fell as soon as he felt the ship's gravity pull him downwards towards the foot of water.
Something was wrong with his program. He started to phase in and out, his skin being temporarily replace with fuzzy static, and then nothing before coming back again. He felt nauseous and remained face-down in the water.
After 3 million years of committing suicide over and over, this felt comforting to him. He couldn't actually drown, but the thought of being close to death was disturbingly comforting. It was when Davie pulled his head out from the water that he remembered the events of the past few days, especially what Legion had told him.
“The holo mod factory!” He said, spitting water out of his mouth.
“What?” Davie asked.
“It's a place that Legion told me about. It's where I can change my program.”
“You can change you program here mate. Holly can do it.”
Justin shook his hard-light head. “No. Not like this. Holly can't add anything to my program that wasn't already there. If I want to feel real sexual desire, I have to go there and add it to my program. Do you think Jay will let me set a course and go find it?”
“First things first man.” Said Alex. “We're nowhere near the Drive Room, and Holly can't even hear us down here.”
Justin's holographic form faded out once more. “What the hell?” Alex said. “What's wrong with you?”
“Not sure.” Justin said. “My light bee isn't damaged... it must be because there's another hologram onboard.”
“Where?”
“How do I know?! But that's the only explanation I can think of. Holly barely has enough power for two holograms. I have to find the other bastard and turn him off.”
“Or her.” Said Alex.
Justin raised an eyebrow. “If it's a 'her' I might have to turn her on instead.” he smirked, but nobody else laughed.
That's when Seymour arrived and they all fell down into the deck below, where they met the blue skinned alien called Efof who told them about some fish-gone-bad called Captain Pugwash.
Justin stepped forward, and noticed the large goldfish at either side of Efof eyeballing him. “Alright mate.” He said. “You might not know how much trouble your fishy friends here are in. I noticed that the water's gradually leaking out, leaving nowhere for them to live.”
Efof communicated this to the fish, who started to dart around in panic.
“Do you know where the leak is?” Efof asked.
“We could find it I suppose, and fix it if we can find some underwater welding gear, but what if we see that Captain Pugwash and his henchmen Seaman Staines?”
Efof asked his fishy pal who bared his pirhana-like teeth and clenched his fin up into a fist.
“Then we run away!” Efof translated.
“I don't think he said 'run away' did he?” Said Justin. “I think he said we have to fight him.”
Efof passed them some underwater welders.
“What does this Pugwash look like anyway?”
“Have you seen the film Jaws?” Efof asked.
Justin glared at him. “He looks like that?”
“No. He's got more teeth.”
<Okay off we go to find the leak and fix it. Do we bump into Jaws/Captain Pugwash along the way? Do we fix the leak or make it worse? If the water all drains away what do we do with the fish?>
