Re: Action "By The Book"
chrysler was just starting to realise why they called Harris Nutter he
looked over to at him in the weapons station aboard Starbug, with a look of
pure malice on his face as he was firing round after round at the Gelf,
weapons platforms. Crysler was doing his best to keep the ship out of the
line of fire, but they had already taken a few hits,
"How did they see us?" Lloyd asked, whilst standing behind Chrysler and
Harris, leaning on the two seats
"They didnt." Chrysler replied "They hit us by accident, according to the
sensor's there was another ship out there, thats gone now, but they were
firing at that, we just got in the way."
"Well they know were here now" said white wolf.
"We're approaching the base!" shouted Chrysler "500 metre's in front, taking
her down."
they dropped pretty quickly, but if they slowed down now, they'd take a
laser blast straight up the exhaust.
as they were dropping, Harris blasted the gelf's radar station, disabling
thier ability to track the 'bug.
"That should buy us some time." he said "We can land without them knowing
about it."
Chrysler landed the ship.
Harris, Whitewolf, Lloyd and Schweeble, suited up ready.
Chrysler remained in the cockpit. "Keep those engines warm Jay" whitewolf
said as he disembarked. "We may need to get out in a hurry."
"Don't worry Lt. they'll be nice and toastie, I'm not keen on being caught
out by the Pikes"
"Keep an open Comm channel with us, and with the ship, just in case anything
happens"
"will do, Lt. Have fun!"
with that the Harris and white wolf, led the raiding party towards the Gelf
base.
