Addressing issues
Point post by White Wolf and Frank Harris
Before the Starbug took off
"It's about bloody time time!" Harris told WW. "I arranged that meeting a very long time ago!"
"I want to speak with you privately, because I wanted to inform you that I suspect our conversations on the Blue Dwarf are being monitored. And this is the only way I can be reasonably sure my informing you is not also being compromised, because it could affect our tactical position of this mission
if the Blue Dwarf has been compromised by the Piks's already. Now, what's raising my suspicions is a short time ago while I was scanning the Blue Dwarfs computer networks, I detected a previously undetected computer. And it seems to be making a active effort at not being found. The only details I discovered with my investigations is that it's named 'Jill' and that it's has scanned several of Holly's files with distinct concentration on the security related information. So unless you have any priveleged information about this 'Jill' computer, you should tell me now, because if you don't, we have to assume that our tactical plans have been compromised and should try to compensate accordingly."
"What were you doing scanning the computer network?!" Harris demanded to know.
"...Errr..." WW only managed.
"If I remember correctly 'Jill' was a ninth generation computer while Holly is a tenth generation computer." Harris told the overgrown hamster. "Now why would someone be using a out dated computer to do their dirty work?!
"I See, Mister Harris. So I'll have to add that to my 'little dirty secrets' mental notes. Do you have anything else you'd like to share with me at this time?"
"Now what's this I heard about that digital ghost Phil and a timeloop?" Harris enquired.
"Your very perceptive, Mr. Harris. So far, your the second person who's noticed our situation. This is much too complicated to explain in detail to you before our mission starts, But I'll give you a quick summary and I think we have time for you can ask a few questions - Ok? First, I'm Atemporal, which means I exist 'outside of time', and thus time doesn't affect me in the normal way. Second, Phil seems to be the only other person so far who seems to have some grasp of this decade long temporal loop that been going on. I discovered it what must be ages ago, and since then, have been trying to figure out ways to help Phil diagnose and correct it. But he's having the same problems all temporals do, when the loop rewinds back to the start, thier memory of what happened is also 'rewound' so to speak, and are left with little or no memory of what occurred. Now I could just do what other atemporals do, and wait for Phil to correct the time loop himself, but I've rather bored with r!
ewatching the events reoccur so often I decided to try and short this loop up. Now I get to answer your questions, so what parts of my summary confuse you, Harris?"
"Nothing whats so ever." Harris told WW. "Now why did you supply Phil with plans for a time machine?"
