A lot is going on around here

Allie, back in the Drive room, watched with major
concentration. She had been told, since she was so
new, to remain in the background for this operation.
She watched as some blond girl was dragged in by a
security officer for having an unquarantined animal.
She couldn't believe the Commander was gonna let her
off and let her keep the animal! The female should
have been quarantined and the animal destroyed. This
ship was completely mad.
Then, to even more of her amazement, the girl, who
was obviously not an officer, hugged the Commander. On
other ships, the Commander might only ever talk to the
officers, not to mention physical contact.
Oh well. The Blue dwarf had bigger fish to fry.
Allie just hoped the crew were up to it. She, even
with her hard nature, hoped and prayed that things
would go well and no lives would be lost.
