Seymour - "Having a frustrating day"

Who: Seymour Niples
Where: Mollopod planet, near the upside down Starbug
When: Before the Blue Midget with the Queen on explodes
Seymour was having a very frustrating day.
Firstly, his precious Queen had been shot. Despite her having all the annoying
qualities of a tart from a council estate, Seymour felt a deep patriotic need to
protect the Queen. She was his Queen, and he vowed to protect her, and do
whatever he could to help her.
The Mollopod who has orchestrated her removal from the throne was running
towards the nearest teleporter to escape.

"Get back here!" Seymour called, chasing Blub towards the Teleporter, in an
uncharacteristic show of bravery. "You need to get the Queen to the Dwarf! Use
your Teleporters!"

Seymour dived on the large slug, just before he reached the teleportation pad.
But Blub's slippery skin caused Seymour to slide straight off. Blub stepped onto
the teleporter and pushed a button. As he disappeared, he waved with a grin at
both Seymour and Justin.
Behind him, Seymour could feel the gust of air that indicated a Blue Midget was
landing. Shakespeare and Coffey wasted no time in bundling the injured Queen
into the craft and taking off again.
Seymour wanted to go with her, but he knew that the situation on Mollopod was
delicate now. The Mollopods had been part of the Commonwealth for over a year
now, which meant they shared the same Queen as other countries such as Britain,
Canada, Australia, India and Jamaica. This bond kept the Mollopods as great
allies, and Seymour didn't want the alliance to end just because one Mollopod
wanted a few Human sandwiches.
He was impressed by the speed at which the rescue team had got there. Sometimes
Seymour hated the incompetence of the Blue Dwarf crew. It often seemed like they
were a collective bunch of idiots who couldn't achieve anything. But when it
came down to times like this, they did their duty well. Seymour looked up at the
Blue Midget in the sky with pride in his heart. He knew they would take good
care of his Queen.
KABOOOM
Seymour dropped to his knees and watched the explosion. It took a few seconds
for him to realise what had just happened.
"My Queen..." He said. "My Queen is dead!"
The entire of Mollopod was silent, until someone from the crowd shouted out.

"YOU MONSTERS!" were the words to break the silence. Mollopods jeered at Blub,
blaming him for the explosion. Blaming him for an explosion that would likely
tear apart the Alliance with Earth, and end their chances of getting a free meal
from an unwary human.

But Blub had gone, beamed away back to his HQ, leaving chaos in his wake.
Mollopods mourned the death of their Queen. If Seymour would have talked
directly with a Mollopod right now he would have learned that none of them
blamed the Humans, they blamed Blub.
But Seymour was angry.
He was more angry than he'd ever been, and he wanted to take it out on someone.
He found Blub's device, the one that had enabled him to appear on all TV screen
on the Mollopod planet. Seymour activated it and his pained face appeared to all
of Mollopod.
"Mollopod people!" He shouted. "Your Queen is dead. She was killed by a Mollopod
named Blub! He wants the alliance between Humans and Mollopods to fail."
Seymour grimaced. He was too emotional to make a public speech, and strong
emotions like these normally lead people to say something stupid. Which is why
Seymour continued, even though he should have stopped here.
"So if Mollopods want the alliance to end.... then consider it ended. Humans and
Mollopods are no longer friends."
A tear rolled down Seymour's cheek. "Brittany was a splendid Queen. Possibly a
bit too vain, but she was absolutely sple-"
The video of Seymour faded into static, making him wonder what was happening.
The static was replaced by the disgusting fat face of Blub. Presumably
broadcasting from his HQ.
"Don't listen to this Human fool!" He told everyone. "I did not kill the Queen.
The Humans have conspired against us and killed their own Queen, because they
want to end the alliance themselves. Humans cannot be trusted. But they really
are very, very tasty."
Blub reached to the left of the camera and pulled into view a large sandwich
with a Human hand in it. He chomped into it and smiled. "Mmmmm, tasty!" he said.
Behind Seymour, Justin squealed. "That's my girlfriend!" He shouted.
The crowd of Mollopods around them looked at Seymour and Justin, and immediately
started licking their lips.
"I think we should depart rather quickly." Seymour said.
Justin fumed with anger, and stared at Seymour. "You let my girlfriend get
killed.... and eaten." He said. Then he drop kicked Seymour in the head. Seymour
fell against the Starbug and yelled in pain.
"Get a hold of yourself young man!" Seymour said. "This crowd is getting angry,
they're going to kill us!"
The crowd of Mollopods got closer, and tried to grab Justin. He fought them off
and ducked into the upside down Starbug. Seymour followed, and so did John
Bromin the grey-skinned Plasmoidian.
They activated the Starbug, which hummed with life. The engines fired, and the
Starbug rolled back around onto it's landing struts, crushing several Mollopods
who were in the way. Then it rocketed into the sky, back to the Blue Dwarf,
leaving Mollopods with their hunger for Humans unfulfilled.

Where: Flight deck
When: After the Starbug gets back to the Blue Dwarf
The crew of the Starbug disembark and leave the flight deck.
When no-one is looking a Mollopod clambered out of the recess which houses the
landing struts. He watches as John Bromin walks off the Flight Deck. "A
Plasmoidian!" He says happily. "The one thing which is more tasty than Human!"
He takes out a cookbook titled "20 tasty Plasmoidian recipes" and followed
Bromin.
