Who: Jay, Efof, Hallie, Kaleb, Jayne, the remaining crew from the HuddersfieldWhere: Floating in spaceWhen: Just after being sucked out of the HuddersfieldEfof looked like he was about to burst into huge, Alien tears and Jay could tell from the sound of it he was already sobbing."We need to find a way back." Jay said to the others. "I can't get through to anyone on Blue Dwarf. I just keep getting an answerphone message."Jayne had an idea. "What if we-"Before she could continue her trail of though a blue flash came from a seemingly solid part of the hull, followed by a swirly thingy. "Look!" Efof was pointing at the figure in a silver space suit being flung out of the swirly jobby backwards, holding what could only be described as a laser gun. None of the crew recognised it as anything they had ever seen. It looked far too
advanced to be anything from this timeline. "There are more of them!"The person in the silver suit went to put their feet down on solid ground, then appeared to have a moment of panic as they realised they were in outer space. 'Convenient that they are wearing a space suit' Jay thought to himself. 'Must have been planned, surely.'The second and third figures came screaming through the swirly thingy faster than the first person. They looked like Apes with brains poking out the top of their heads. Only one of them was wearing a space suit, the other one turned inside out almost instantly as the vaccum sucked out everything normally held in place by its skin.The suited Ape-creature was also holding a weapon of some kind, different than the first one, but just as advanced. Jay felt the fabric of space pulse around him as it let off three shots toward the silver suited figure.Only one shot managed to hit the target, merely glancing the shoulder
and sending them spinning off in another direction. 'Our direction!' Jay realised as the silver suited figure let out one, perfectly precise shot free from his weapon.Jayne was amazed. Efof vomited.The Ape creature stopped moving as soon as its brains were set free from its head. Seeing its target eliminated, the silver suited figure let go of his weapon and tried grabbing out for anything in reach.Jaynes foot was the only thing in reach.After a lot of scuffling and trying to shake the stranger free, Jayne caught sight of them through the space suits lightly tinted visor."Jayne!" Jay called out. "Who is it?!"There was no reply as the man in the space suit looked straight into her eyes."Oh my god..." She almost whispered. "You've aged so much...""Who has?!" Jay called back. He could hear Efof swallowing what was left of his vomit."Who is it Jayne?" Efof asked with what sounded like a full mouth. He thought about
reaching out and catching the newcomers weapon as it floated by. He though again and watched as the captain took hold of it with a stretch.Jayne watched as the silver suited man tried to talk to her, but he clearly wasn't on their frequency, if he had a communication device at all. The vaccum of space wouldnt let the sound across. She moved her head toward his until the visors came into contact with each other and said very carefully:"Can you hear me?""Yes." Jay heard the reply too."Where did you go?" Jayne appeared to know him, both Jay and Efof found the voice slightly familiar."I don't know. I spent the last fifteen years trying to find a way back."'Fifteen years?' Thought Jay. 'Jayne's been with us less than a decade, how can she know him?' There was a long pause until Jayne broke the silence."That was one hell of a shot just then, Micky"<tag! Micky's older, wiser, and that weapon the ape-thing used will
provide enough pushing force to move all of us. Now get us back and Micky will explain everything when we're back on the ship! (p.s. you will also notice he has a human arm again. sometime over the last 15 years he got it back. more next time!)
