*Actionette* - "High Security"
Who: Rosette & Rufus
Where: Prison Planet 1-3 Alpha
When: About an hour after Andy's post 'Jupiter miming corporation'
"Oww..." Rosette muttered, instinctively raising a hand to rub her aching head.
The Mime Virus was gone from her system now, which was a good thing. But More
importantly, the Bug was nowhere to be seen or heard.
"Finally.." She said, almost letting a tear of happiness run down her face. She
wiped it away quickly, and looked around.
"Hmm. Finally awake." Came a voice from outside the room. She looked up to see
a glowing yellow forcefield between her and whoever it was that was speaking.
"The Hymenoptera will be glad to know you're alive, but It's a shame they'll
never be able to get to you here." He was some kind of prison guard, maybe even
in charge of several of them. He definitely looked it, the way he was able to
stand and mock her while other employees of the facility walked behind looking
busy.
"What are you talking about? Where Am I?" She asked, confused about what had
happened since Jay injected her with a mimed anti-virus. Her cell looked very
secure, almost as if the entire place was built to withstand a direct nuclear
explosion.
"Don't you even try transforming in there. The forcefield covers all of the
walls, so not even Acid will get you out." The guard said, before wandering
off.
"It's not as if I want to turn into that... thing." she said to herself, moving
to the end of the room to watch the guards, and look at the rest of the complex.
Several floors of cells flanked a large hallway below. A walkway connected each
and every cell on that level, and joined to a ramp to the bottom at one end.
Every other floor looked the same, apart from of course the ground level, on
which the cells opened directly onto the hall.
"Who's there?" Came a familiar voice from the cell next door. Rosette lightened
up as she recognised it, and knew that if someone could figure a way out of
these cells, it would be him.
"Rufus? Is that you?" Rosette asked. She knew it was, but needed confirmation
before she could assume she would be saved.
"Rosette, right?" He replied, not having a fantastic memory for faces or voices,
not that he could even see her face right now.
"Yeah... Have you heard from anyone else?" She asked, moving to the other side
of her cell.
"Hello? Who's in there?" She asked, hoping someone equally as useful would be
there.
---------------------------------
The whole facility was one humungous underground fortress. Barely anything
opened to the surface, save for one walkway, heavily camouflaged with both
netting, and an optical barrier making it look like nothing more than a small
wood. Each of the prisoners were fighting against the Mime Army, high level
Prisoners of War were kept here, as it was the most secure prison in the galaxy.
This prison was as hard to get out of as it was to get into both Fort Knox, and
Alcatraz... at the same time, without being seen by anyone.
To put a short story just as short, it was virtually impossible.
Each prisoner wore a jumpsuit. Orange in colour, and unknown to each of them,
woven into the fabric many in many different places were small sensors. Each
one of them sent a signal to the main computer in the facility to watch every
single inmate without having to leave a control room. Even if you were able to
find a sensor and turn it off, each of the others would still be sending a
signal.
<Tag. There we go, some backgound to this. Feel free to try and escape if you
want, or just try and find out whats going on, and hold out until rescue. Post!
Those of you that don't do anything stand more chance of being left behind! (No
joke. Inactives may be left here at Admins approval)>
