Re: [JMC_Blue_Dwarf] Major Harris \'A very short post\'
Smoothing back her hair, D'Arcy-Jada Longwood knocked on the security
offices' door. She had no idea about Major Harris' hangover.
"Come in!" barked a command that made DJ move her ass. She quickly entered
and sat down across from Harris.
It appeared to DJ he had just woken up. "Who the hell are you?!" Harris
demanded.
DJ, normally an out-going and friendly girl, stared at the floor with fear.
"I'm D'Arcy-Jada Longwood, sir," she squeaked. "I'm one of the new security
officers."
"None of that 'Sir' crap!" Harris growled. He stood, somewhat shakily, and
walked behind DJ, inspecting her. "Whadda they call you?"
"Pardon?"
"Most of my security team have some kind of clever nickname, like 'Havoc' or
'Death-Wish.' What's yours?"
Reluctantly, and slowly (she was afraid a sudden movement could scare him and
he would attack, like a grizzly) she turned to face him. "I don't have one.
Everyone just calls me DJ."
"DJ, huh?"
DJ nodded her head, quickly adding, "If you want a nickname, you could make
up something from my initials, like, uh, Deadly Jujitsu."
Harris gave her a strange look. "Deadly Jujitsu?"
"Yes. I'm trained in Jujitsu," DJ explained. "That's why I got the job as
Security Officer." Even though I wanted to be in navigation, she thought.
Harris sat back down at his desk. "Okay then, show me something."
DJ gave him a surprised look, then obeyed. She stood and pushed her chair off
to the side. With grunts and cries, DJ demonstrated a few puched and kicks.
Harris seemed little impressed. Then, DJ turned her back to him, and did a
back-flip ontop of his desk. She turned back around and gazed down at him.
"How's that?"
