"In Micky's head" pt1

"Now lets just rub some of this on your foreheads and then attach this wire. It's actually not that complicated, Evil Holly did it wirelessly using Micky's robotic arm as an input device. And the Human brain is really just a big computer."
"What about a Ffionian brain?"
"It's a little computer." Said Keto. "So who wants to volunteer?"

Who: Efof
Where: His quarters... or somewhere that looks like his quarters
When: Next morning
Efof woke up and threw off his He-man duvet. He yawned and stretched with all four arms.
He stumbled over to the bathroom and attempted to wake himself up by splashing water in his face. He then went through his normal routine, still half asleep. He had a shower, washed the curly black hairs on his head, and brushed his teeth. He normally wasn't even fully awake until he was given his coffee at the Navigation station. He attempted a handstand to go to the toilet, and cursed the stupid Human toilets that didn't accommodate for Ffionian physiology. He did all of this every day without fail... but today wasn't the same as every normal day.
Then Efof thought harder, and it hurt his brain. What happened last night? He couldn't remember a nights drinking or clubbing, but that wasn't unusual. He'd woken up many times and not remembered the night before if he'd been out drinking with Jay, Dean or Phil. But he didnt even feel hungover.
He started to think about his last memories. He'd been in the medibay. That part was clear. And he remembered Keto explaining something complicated about Evil Holly being in Micky's brain, which sounded ridiculous. Then he remembered volunteering to go inside Micky's brain, which sounded just downright stupid. He remembered Dr Keto rubbing some ointment on his head, and plugging something into him...
And then he remembered waking up and throwing off the He-man duvet.
There was only one conclusion. He was inside Micky's brain.
Unfortunately Efof wasn't clever enough to work this out, so didn't He stepped out of his apartment and where he expected to see a corridor on the Blue Dwarf, he found a dreary Northern town. Rain poured down at him from thick grey clouds above.
"Eerrrr?" Efof said. His first word of the day. He immediately picked his phone out of his pocket and rang the first person he could think of.
"Hello?" Said Jay Chrysler.
"Hi, Captain. It's Efof." The blue man said.
"I know it's you, it says so on my phone. What do you want Efof?" Said the Captain.
"It's raining on Deck 28 Jay. I mean Captain. And it looks like a miserable town."
"Correction." Said Jay. "It looks like a miserable NORTHERN town."
Efof felt a firm hand on his shoulder. He spun around in fright. Jay Chrysler was standing next to him, the rain wetting his shirt.
"Sorry Jay gotta go." Said Efof and hung up.
"You don't need to tell me that, I'm here!" Said Jay.
Efof looked sheepish. "So what's a northern town?"
"It's miserable, like this one." Jay said, then he pointed to a sign in the distance. "Blackburn Two."
"Where's that?" Efof asked.
"We're in Micky's head. I assume it's one of his memories." Said Jay.
"WE'RE IN MICKY'S HEAD?!!"
"Keep up Efof!" The Captain said. "Now lets go see if we can find Evil Holly, so we can stop him."
Efof agreed, and they started to walk through the rainy streets.
The town seemed to be deserted, shop windows were displaying mediocre products, but with all the lights turned off. All houses were locked too with no signs of life.
The rain slowed, but the clouds above darkened, and soon the crashing sound of thunder boomed over their heads, with lightning arcing across the sky.
"The storm's getting worse!" Said Jay, and they took shelter in a shop window. The shop seemed to sell boring products like hoover bags, and had a hand-drawn sign in the window saying "LOOK" with eyes drawn in the O's.
Lightning was now coming out of the sky and hitting the ground. In one flash of light, the scenery changed totally around them.
They were standing on a highway, a large stretch of tarmac that went straight from as far as they could see in both directions. The rest of the scenery was empty, like a dessert planet.
Ahead, two dogs were fighting, and the battle was being watched by three humans. Jay immediately recognised two of them.
"Hey, that's cruel. They're making dogs fight!" Said Efof.
"Shhh." Said Jay and made them hide behind a cactus. "That's Micky up ahead. And that Cowboy-looking one... I think it's...."
"Who?"
"I think it's Captain Calvert."
"Eh? Why is Captain Calvert in Micky's dreams?"
"Not sure. I thought Micky came aboard the Blue Dwarf after Calvert was shot."
"Maybe they knew each other before?"
"Unlikely. Jed was a freelancing space cowboy and pirate!"
"Oh yeah." Said Efof. "And Micky is such a kind, honest and caring person." He said sarcastically.
"Good point." Said Jay with a grin.
A bolt of lightning hit the golden Labrador, and Efof gasped. "Poor thing!" he said.
The remaining black labrador walked towards Micky, it's red eyes glowing.

"You're going to help me boy, whether you want to or not, you're going to help me
kill that pesky Captain of yours and any crew stupid enough to try and stop me."
He was marching towards Micky as he spat this at him. "You, and your friends
over there!" Evil Holly lifted Micky by the hair with one hand and tuned him
around.

"A talking dog!" Said Efof. "How cute!"
"It's got bright red eyes and is lifting Micky in the air!" Said Jay. "besides, it's not a dog. I think that's Holly. The evil Holly."
"What about the dead dog.... oh." Efof got it and looked sad.
Jay nodded.

"How about you redeem yourself by helping us out?"
Micky looked down at the rifle, trying to remember why he felt so upset. He felt
like everything had been taken away from him. When he looked into the red eyes
of his new friend, though, all doubt was gone. He smiled, nodded and took the
rifle.
As the well armed Captain, Pirate Pete and Micky were all shown the way by their
new ring leader, the dying Golden Labradore lay in the rain.

Jay and Efof rushed over to the Labrador, just as it faded out from existence.
"Poor Holly!" Said Efof. "I'm sorry for all the times I swore at you for giving me RAM errors!" Efof shouted at the floor, but Holly had already gone.
"So what next?" Efof asked.
"We need to stop them." Said Jay. "Micky is the key. If he's on the side of Evil Holly, then Holly can use his robotic arm to somehow take over the Blue Dwarf again."
Efof nodded. But had no idea how they were going to stop them.
