The Surprise reutrn of Johnny... Again!!

Where: Medical Department, Psychiatric Ward.
When: "Night" time.
Nurse Redmond yawns.
"Why do I get this stupid job?" she mutters to herself. "One never wakes & the other never speaks."
There are two beds in the room that she has to supervise. The one known as Johnny lies awake but doesn't move or talk. The one referred to as Eric still hasn't opened his eyes, but sometimes he thrashes about in his sleep. A couple of times he has screamed while asleep. She has never heard such piercing screams from a man before.
Suddenly, the lights go out. Nurse Redmond jumps, and th lights come back on. There is a slight rumbling noise and both JOhnny & Eric sit up straight & wide awake.
"It is ready." they chant in unison. "The time is now!"
They both immediately fall back asleep before the lights flicker more. Suddenly, she hears one of them cough & the other yawn as they stretch and start muttering to themselves as they get out of bed.
"What the?!..." Johnny speaks with surprise, looking around and noticing his white gown.
"What's going on, mate?" Eric says, noticing the machines.
Nurse Redmond quickly presses a red button 5 times really quick, as both Eric & Johnny turn around and see her.

"Comatose?" Eric can't believe what Dr Keto said.
"That's what I've said - you've been comatose for six months. You're lucky Jay likes you, or I would have turned off the life support after a week. It was becoming a huge drain on my budget!"
"I see you haven't changed a bit!" Johnny growled.
"Speaking of which," Eric spoke, "what has changed? The last thing I remember was getting ready for the test flight."
"Same here." Johnny replied. "I remember activating the reality drive, and then nothing."
"Except nightmares." Eric & Johnny said in unison.
"Probably because your insurance didn't cover my treatment." Keto rubbed his hands together. "Your bills will be in the mail, or so to speak. Now get out before I charge you for another three years treatment!"
"But you said we were only here six months?" Johnny queried.
"Out out OUT!" Keto shouted.
Johnny & Eric scampered out of the medical department, collapsing with exhaustion due to six months of inactivity.
