"Listen! Everyone knows I'm not the biggest fan of Hymenoptera! Christ, they took EVERYTHING from me! But Rosette has been nothing but an asset to this crew until now, and I have no reason to believe that she means us any harm now!" he turned back to Rosette. "Although, you would need security access codes to open the doors manually. I have to be honest, I'd have reservations about giving them to a non-registered crew member....particularly one who...you know.."
Rosette hung her head.

"You know..." said Jayne, who up until now had been silent "There could be a way around that..." everyone turned to face Jayne's monitor. Unlike many, she saw good in Rosette despite her admission, following her own experiences when she first joined the crew. "Doctor Keto" she said "Do you know anything about a 'luck virus?'"
"Heard of it" the Doctor said in reply. "Why?"
"I heard about it when I was working for some black-market dealers...it's a man-made virus that gives the infectee with incredible luck, for a short time. In theory, Rosette could guess the access codes and get it right!"
"Well then I might as well just give her the codes..." Jay said "I don't see how it's a solution..."
"Well, she'd have guessed the codes.." Jayne replied "She won't remember them afterwards!"
Jay pondered for a second.
"I'll consider it..Doc, could you engineer a luck virus?"
"If I had the right equipment. Possibly. Though, I'd prefer a luck ointment..."
"NO OINTMENT!"
"Then the answer is no."
"Ok..ok..ointment it is.." Jay said. "Though I'm still not sold on this idea, do we have any other suggestions that don't involve setting a murderous insect on the loose aboard the Dwarf?"
Jay paused for a second. "No offence Rosette,..."
