**ACTION** Back to the Future

Rosette slid into the crack in the tree trunk and soon emerged with a metallic device about the size of her hand. It looked like a complicated mechanism. She turned it over and over in her hands. "I have no idea what it is." She said.
"It's a trigger mechanism." Brittany said, stunning Rosette into silence.
"How the hell do you know that? You're not a scientist!"
Brittany shrugged. "Darling, it says it on the side!"
"Oh."
They took the device back to the Captain.

"Jay! we found one of the pieces!" Rosette called when they were in earshot. She handed it to him as they arrived, and it appeared that every other piece had been discovered as well. Jay had them all together, along with the instructions on putting it all together. Rufus was looking at it, but he looked kind of bored.
"You know... A five year old could put this together." He said, as if his talents had been completely wasted with such a mundane task.
"But you're the youngest member of the crew, I'm afraid you're the most qualified for the job." Jay laughed.
"I knew that was coming" Rufus said, palming his face.
Shortly, Rufus held up the device. It looked much like a standard fragmentation grenade, but with an electrical trigger mechanism, rather than the old-fashioned pin.
"So, we just push the button, and throw it at the 'Dwarf, right?" Jay said, making sure he'd heard it properly. Rufus nodded after checking the datapad. "I'm not sure how it works, but it says the 'Dwarf will go white, then melt away... It's supposed to be able to fix the damage to the castle as well, but i'm not familiar with the technology." He said, putting the datapad into his lab-coat pocket. He then took it out, shook it a bit to dislodge a lump of green slime, then put it in his other pocket.
"Ok.. so let's do this." Jay said, carting everyone off to the crash-site of the Blue Dwarf.

"Dammit, we're pinned." Chris Harris said, barely wanting to stick his head over the rop of the rock he was hiding behind to get a better look. Arrows sailed overhead, and bazookoid blasts destroyed rocks other people were hiding behind.
"Who's a good throw here?" Jay asked. Mk.10 piped up at that point, carting himself over to Jay quickly.
"Here. I'll get it over there no trouble." He said, holding out an arm. He flexed mechanical versions of muscles, in this case servo motors and hydraulics. Jay handed over the grenade, and Mk.10 peered over the rocks to get a better view. An arrow scratched down the side of his metal shell, cutting deep into the paintwork. A few sparks flew off to the side, but he shook it off like a man. He pushed the button, and swung his arm around in an arc, sending the grenade flying like the rocks from a trebuchet.
"Thar she blows!" he called, ducking behind the rocks again in case there was some kind of explosion. When there was none, everyone felt stupid for closing their eyes and covering their ears. Especially when they opened their eyes and were faced with the bows and bazookoids of the sherriff of nottinghams men.
"You people are very strange. I will be glad to execute every last one of y-" he said, cut off mid-sentence by being stopped in time.
Jay looked up, as did everyone else. The Blue Dwarf had disappeared, and the castle was back the way it was.
"You have NO IDEA how close you came to screwing up the universe." Said a familiar voice. Annie was standing there in her pristine white dress, looking like a stereotypical angel.
"What do you mean? Who are you?" Jay asked. standing up and pointing his gun at the newcomer. He then looked down at his hand, and noticed the lack of such a weapon. Everyone's future weapons had disappeared, obviously a part of the grenades effect.
"You can put that down, Jay Chrysler. I'm here to fix the timelines and send you back to your own era." Annie responded. "I can't keep doing this though. Sooner or later it's going to be too much for me to fix."
"What about the Hymenoptera?" Rosette asked, running past groups of people to get to Annie. "Will that grenade get rid of them too?" She asked, in a bit of a stress.
Annie looked up into the sky, cocked her head to one side, then looked back down.
"I'm sorry, they've long gone. They're outside the range of the grenade, and I don't seem to be able to send them there myself... It's as if they belong in this time.
"I'm afraid I don't know what changes have already been made to your time, so I can only send you to the Mollopod planet you were on before. You'll have to make your own way back to the Blue Dwarf..." Annie said, clicking her fingers.
A bright, white light enveloped everyone, much like the one that had brought them here in the first place. When the light subsided, they were indeed standing once again on the Mollopod planet, with many confused mollopods staring at them.
"Uhh.. It looks like we're back." Jay said.
<Tag people! it's over.!>
