Kara decided to do things her way. She took out her blaster and smashed the thing against the control panel until she heard a horrible lurch and metallic crunch go the giant snail as it grinded to a stop. "Hm, must have hit the breaks. Now to get it started again..." He said as she started to smash the panel again until the snail came back to life and started heading towards what looked to be some kind of city...

Who: Captain Jay Chrysler
Where: Blue Dwarf, Captain's Office
When: Just after
Captain Chrysler was so very stressed. So many things seemed to be going off at the same time. He had crewmembers on the planet in danger, a riot on the Promenade, and he couldn't even go for a beer to relax because some new Health and Safety officer had ejected it all into space. Jay was starting to even respect morons like Captain Calvert and Captain Cannon for remaining in the Captain's seat for so long.
"Message for you Captain." Came the voice of Janis Cooper through the comm system.
"Who is it? Can you tell them I'm busy?" Jay said, clearly with a lot on his mind.
"Its an Admiral from the Space Corps.... he says his name is Admiral Bolsover."
Jay put his head in his hands. "Put him through." He reluctantly said. The Admiral's face appeared on the screen in his office and Jay quickly took his head out from his hands. He didn't want to show that the pressures of command were affecting him.
"Admiral!" he faked enthusiasm. "What can I do for you?"
"I have heard some grim news Captain." Bolsover said, getting straight to business.
"Oh?"
"The Mollopods have retracted their alliance with us."
"Oh... that... yes. They think we're working with the Hyme-"
"This is bad news for the Space Corps. It is bad news for the entire Human race!" The Admiral said. "Do you know how dangerous the Mollopods are as an enemy?"
"Well yes... we-"
"They find the taste of Humans a delicacy. This is very dangerous! The Space Corps doesn't have the man-power or the budget to protect our entire civilisation from an advanced race of hungry-snails.
"Slugs sir." Jay corrected, then realised his mistake. Don't correct Admirals.
"Bottom line Captain Chrysler, if you don't get the Mollopods to submit to an alliance again by the end of the week, you're fired."
"What?!"
"You heard! I'll have you replaced, and transferred back to Earth. Admiral out!"
The video footage of the Admiral disappeared, leaving Jay fuming.
"Holly!" he called out. "Show me a map of that large mechanical thing on the planet below."
A map appeared on the screen with a flashing dot. The dot represented the Pulmonater, the large mechanical snail that was crawling out of control towards the planet's capitol: 'Paradise City'. Who knows what kind of damage a large war-snail could do when it got to a built-up area.
Jay noticed something in the path of the metal monster. A bridge. He started to formulate a plan when he was distracted by Phil calling him to the Drive Room.
"Jay... I mean....Captain... I mean Jay, we've got incoming enemy fighters coming from the planet!"
Jay rushed onto the Drive Room and looked at the Radar screens. "They're too small to be fighters..."
A stream of tiny objects came from the planet and quickly surrounded the ship. A light knocking on the Drive-Room's window caused Jay to look. He'd seen them before.
The small robotic device disappeared from where it was outside and materialised inside. It buzzed around and everyone took cover.

Who: Dante, Mk.10, Chris Harris and several hundred rioting sober people
Where: Promenade, Blue Dwarf
When: Same time
Several drones materialised above the heads of the rioting crewmembers, causing more panic then there had been before.
The drones fired small darts which stuck into crewmembers skin. Once the tag was attached, the person disappeared.
"Not this again." The Security team said to each other. This had happened the last time the Mollopods had attacked, they transported each and every crewmember down to the surface of their planet.
Dante, Chris and Mk.10 fired their weapons at the small drones, but they were fast and almost impossible to hit. In only a few minutes, all of the rioting crewmembers had been beamed away.
"Stupid bastards!" Said Dante. "Most of the crew gathered all in one place, making it even easier for them!"
"Watch yourself!" Shouted Harris, as a drone came close and fired a transporter dart at Mk10. He disappeared.
"Bastard!" Shouted Dante, and dropped his gun. The small floating robots were too difficult to hit. Instead he lashed out with his meaty fists and knocked the drone across into the dollar-pound shop.
He swung around to punch another, but this one fired a dart right into his fist. He disappeared before he could even hit it.
Harris was left alone in the Promenade, surrounded by drones all ready to fire at him.

Who: Captain Chrylser, Phil and Janis Cooper
Where: Drive-Room
When: Same time
"What is it?" Asked Janis Cooper, who was clearly new since the last time this happened. "Will it kill us?"
"No. It will teleport you to the planet." Said Jay.
"Last time it teleported the entire crew into large blenders. We were this close to being Human milkshake." Added Phil, gesturing with his fingers.
"I wasn't going to mention that." Said Jay, ducking.
Janis grabbed an axe from the wall and started swinging it around dangerously. "Don't worry Captain, I'll fight with you until the end-"
She swung the axe around and missed the drone, embedding the metal end into one of the computers. Arcs of electricity came up from the damaged machine and bounced off her body. She turned various shades of crispy then fell to the floor in a steaming cooked mass.
"Oh my god!" Shouted Jay, amazed at her allegiance to him. "How many crew left?" He asked Phil.
Phil checked a computer whilst still dodging the drone flying around, then he said. "We're the last ones."
Jay took a deep breath. He then stood up and walked towards the drone.
"It'll get you!" Shouted Phil.
"Good. I need to be with my crew." He said. Phil nodded and stood next to him.

Jay and Phil materialised in a Mollopod prison cell. Down the corridor were hundreds of other cells just like theirs, containing all of the Blue Dwarf crewmembers.
"Captain Chrysler. You have been charged with working with the Hymenoptera. You and your crew will be eaten for tonight's dinner!"
Jay sighed.
He turned to see who was in his cell. Chris Harris, Rosette, Dante, Phil and Rufus were there.
"jay what's going on. Why do they think we're working with the Hymenoptera?" Harris asked. Rosette looked sheepish.
"We need to escape." Jay said.
This was followed by lots of "Durr!" Sounds from the crew.
"Right now the really large mobile weapons platform they call the 'Pulmonater' is heading towards their largest city. If we stop it, we might be able to prove that we're on their side."
"How?"
"There's a bridge... the Pulmonater needs to cross it to get to the city. If we blow it up, we can stop the thing in it's tracks."
