Amber stood there, shocked that this person she'd never met before could have
the audacity to say such a thing. Rosette, who was standing next to her at the
time, joined in the staring contest, and purposefully let one of her straps fall
into visibility. He awkwardly cleared his throat, obviously giving up in his
pursuits.
"So uhh... What's... going on?" He asked, trying to change the subject back to
his original point. The two women exchanged a glance, and then returned their
eyes to him, eyes that he would've sworn were that of something not altogether
human.
"Well, it started off as a big cannon on the Mollopod planet shooting a
Hymenoptera ship, then turning it on us. Then it became something more along
the lines of an annoying man trying to perv." Rosette said first, setting up
Amber for something a little nastier.
"If that cannon fires, they're not going to worry about finding a dead body in
the corridors, are they?" Amber asked no one in particular. Sweetsly gulped,
and turned away.
"It's my job... Please don't be mad at me for it..." He said, breaking down
under the strength of their combined glares.
"We're going to help on the planet, if you think being health and safety
conscious will help, then tag along, otherwise stay here, and keep your eyes to
yourself." Amber said, jabbing him in the chest for effect. When his eyes
looked down at her jabbing finger, she caught him on the nose with a flick.
