Re: **Action** \"Executive decision pt 2\"
Chris Zodar
The Tribunal
-----------------------------------------------
Zodar walked to the bench.
"Christopher J. Zodar, would you please explain why you think Captain
Cannon should be removed from command?"
"Well, you see, I have never actually met Cannon before. Yeah, I've
heard of his actions. The scutters told me."
There was an odd silence.
"Really... But, from what I've heard, they're all kamekazi plays. If
I didn't actually like the weird things that happen on the ship, I'd
kill him!"
"Are you saying that he didn't put you in danger?"
"Oh, no, he put me in danger, alright. I just didn't know it was his
fault."
Niples jumped up in objection.
"How could you not know, you stupid adolescent! Why I oughta..."
Zodar paused. Then turned to Niples.
"Seymour, I don't think I've ever met you. Don't get all mad at me. I
still think he's a bad captain, or at least, one that isn't a good
one. That's because actions speak louder than words. If the crew
thinks that he's putting them in dangerous situations, I think they'd
know what they were talking about, because they would have been in
those situations. They wouldn't just say it for the heck of it."
The court agreed to themselves.
"Point taken Zodar, you may sit."
Heading back to his seat, Zodar was stopped by Niples.
"Chris, I'm sorry about that. I just..."
A smile grew across Chris's face.
"It's ok. I know how you feel. I'm just trying to help."
