Case of the doubles.....

  Kara glared at her alter ego doing her best not to pummel herfor this embarrassment. Keto sat there waiting with a light smileon his face as though this was some kind of game or as thoughshe was expected to put on a show. "Maybe you should take intoconsideration that I am dead and this other me is obviously morethan alive." Kara said as she pointed at the H on her forehead.   "Still I cannot be sure. After all I have the gun so what I say hasto go." Keto said as he waved the blaster about. For some reasonthis seemed to entertain her dark alter ego. Dark Kara titled her headback and began to laugh hysterically as though this were all somebig joke. Kara walked up to her alter ego and smacked her acrossthe face. Dark Kara slowly turned back to Kara and punched her in the stomach.   They both froze the moment a shot barely missed Dark Kara's head."Now I said we would do this sensibly. And we will." Keto said. Karasighed and shook her head. "This doesn't make any sense. You shouldknow it's me. I mean even Holly can tell you which one is the real one.Pretty much almost any crew member aboard this ship could tell usapart. And anyways.....there's no way in hell I would be caught wearingsomething as stupid as what she's got on." She said as she indicatedDark Kara's rather trashy dress sense.   "Oh, and like what you are wearing is any better? All black? What areyou some kind of sci-fi action movie reject?" Dark Kara snapped. "I'll have you know this is Space Corp official hologrammatic Pilot  default uniform.I didn't think I needed to look like some kind of prison escapee." Kara scowled.  "I AM A PRISON ESCAPEE!!!" "You've made that more than obvious. Prison isn't something I wouldbe proud of." "When you killed the captain of your ship cause you thought he wasirritating you, I think you would." "At least I am sane enough to not react violently when something bothers me. It's called restraint. You should try it sometime."  "You just HIT ME five seconds ago for bothering you." "That's different. You're making me look bad." Dark Kara growled and reeled her fist back to punch Kara. At least that was one difference between them for sure. Kara did have a biggermouth by far.  Dark Kara slowly lowered her arm and sighed in frustration. She knewthat one shot from that gun would kill her dead. She had to think carefullyotherwise she would loose her chance at survival or at least her chance to take over this far better Blue Dwarf.   Kara shook her head as she realized something. This wasn't going to kill her. She was invincible. Why the hell was she scared? She began to makeher way towards Keto with a scary smile on her face. She had more thanone thing on her side that could profit her in this situation. She pointedat Keto which made him a jump a bit. She hoped to God it would work for her.
