Hymenopterran Hijinks

Blue Dwarf now looked like, with this monster ripping through floors
and pushing bulkheads out of alignment. It probably had severe bulges
that the monster had pushed out.
It's mandibles clicked and the giant insect prepared to crash down
into them.....---- End Snip ----Emulating Efof's earlier statement, Amber decided to offer up some useful advice to the rest of the group."Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!" she screeched, belting off down the corridor and dragging one of Efof's many arms with her."I have an idea." Rosette said, panting with the effort of keeping away from the creature. "If we lure it back to it's ship, and then force it out into space, all of the other Blue Dwarfs around will surely blow it to high heaven!" She said, proud of her plan."How do we eject it though?" Efof asked, his naive mind always coming up with the best flaws in the plan."Simple, I'll just go inside and set the auto-launch sequence whilst you two distract it for a minute." Amber said, deliberately picking up the pace a little bit. The deck plating creaked ominously behind them."Distract that thing?! It's huge, and the corridors are tiny. What do you want us to do, dress in drag and do the hula or something?!" Rose protested."No, I thought you could use the bulkhead controls to block it's path on a few decks to cause it to go up and down a few levels rather than going in a straight line whilst I run on ahead and set the auto-launch." Amber grinned, breathless after the running. "Great... Nice and simple then...." Rose murmured, and branched off to engineering where the bulk head doors were controlled from.The giant stag beetle paused as his prey went two different ways, he decided to go for the direction that smelled more. The direction that the most prey had gone down. The deck plating behind Rose and Efof began to buckle and bend as the huge bug charged after them.Deep down at the back of the ship, Amber reached the Hymenopterran crashed ship. It didn't take her long to set the auto-launch for the moment the stag beetle returned to his ship, drawn there by a clever and alluring maze of blast door traps. However, Amber did notice something odd. An addition to the Hymenopterran ship that shouldn't have been there. After a few moments of analysis she found out what it was."Oh no... Seriously... This is bad." She belted out of the ship and hammered on the nearest communications monitor. "Jay!" She danced on the spot and waited for a reply. "Jay! Come on this is serious. It's about that Hymenopterran ship that came through with one of the BD's." She paused briefly, making sure that anyone who was tuned in and happened to be called Captain Jay Chrysler could hear."What is it Amber? I'm busy in a meeting?" Jay finally responded."It's carrying a homing beacon." She stated simply."Smeg." Came the reply. Amber heard a rumbling in the distance."Gotta run! I'll debrief if I get back..." And she pelted back up the corridor and hid in an escape-pod, waiting for the bug to go past.<Tag Rose and Efof... and Jay!>OOC - Sorry it's short and quite talky.
