Kara - "Neverending...."
Kara woke up to find herself laying on the gritty floor of thealternate Blue Dwarf. The room was very dismal and worn much like the rest of the ship. She got up on her knees andsighed. The headaches....were only getting worse. She rubbedher head and got up on her feet. She looked around and noticed the she was in some kind ofstorage room. What kind of condition could this place be in thatthey couldn't even put her in a proper cell or something along those lines. She walked up to the door and was surprised whenit simply opened. Why was the door not even locked? The fact that the door wasn't even properly secured made her even more wary. Kara reached down to grab her blaster and then rememberedshe had lost it when her hand touched nothing. Great, now shewas alone and unarmed on a ship possibly stocked with crazies. At least she would have a reason to work a bit on her unarmed combat a bit. She dusted herself off and peeked out the door. She looked outside and saw what may have been the Drive Room just down the corridor. She slowly walked out the door keeping her witsabout her. She made her way towards the Drive Room hopingthat she could figure out who the hell was in charge of this twistedversion of the Blue Dwarf. She stopped right before the door and looked inside. The Drive Room was a twisted mass of wires and junk. There were even a couple bodies. She entered the Drive Room and made her way to the console. Perhaps she could make some kind of signal or at leastfind out how to get the hell outta here. She reached her hand for the console but right before she could touchit someone grabbed her arm and pulled her to the ground. She looked upand gasped when she saw a twisted version of herself looking down at herholding tightly on her arm. "I had a feeling you'd get this far. But somehowif I just kept you locked up then it would just take the fun out of this." DarkKara said as she smiled. Kara tried to pull her arm away but her alter self quickly responded by twisting her arm sharply. Kara let out a sharp yelp and in her head cursed whoever came up with the idea of hard-light holograms still being able to feel pain. "Now I am well aware I cannot break your arm despite how enjoyable that is for me. But we do know that you brought a ship on board. A ship that works. We would have gotten rid of you by now but it seemsyou were being smart and locked it up good." Dark Kara said. "Of course I did. This is exactly the reason I did that." Kara said. "Yes, but it now is only can inconvenience for us and our relationship. So why don't you smooth things out for us and just unlock it?" Dark Karaoffered with an uneasy smirk. Kara let out a little laugh and shook her head. "Seeing as your obviously a version of myself I know whatyou might be thinking. So you can just forget it." She said. Dark Kara scowled and threw Kara down on the ground. Kara quicklydarted around in time to see her doppelganger produce and holo-whip.She swung it at Kara with speed but Kara caught it in her hand. Karagritted her teeth as the weapon sent painful surges into her. She pulledon the whip and got herself back on her feet. Dark Kara tried to tug itout of her grip but Kara held onto the holo-whip tightly. "Look, bitch. I'm not in the mood for anymore crap today. So why don'tyou do me a favour and just tell me where my ship is and I'll forget aboutall of this." Kara said as she glared at her darker self. But before her alter self could answer Kara's world began to go fuzzy. Her head beganto scream in pain so much that it dulled out the feelings from the holo-whip. Kara let go of the holo-whip and dropped to her knees. She gripped someof her hair and began to tug at it hoping it would end the pain. "Smegging...hell.....not....now." She muttered. She tried to get herself to stand up but her legs would cooperate. Dark Kara took advantage of the situation and gave Kara a sharp kick to the head. Kara was thrown backwards and smacked into a wall. Kara tried to shake off her pounding head in order to defend herself fromthe threat of her alter self. Dark Kara walked up to her and grabbed the disoriented hologram by the collar bringing her up to her feet. "Looks asthough the situation has turned to my favour. So how about we take a little trip to your ship, eh?" Dark Kara asked and then she started draggingKara to the docking bay. She tried to do anything but the pain just blinded her. Kara couldn't concentrateand now this psycho was gonna make her give up her ship like nothing. Whatwas she going to do.....what were these headaches all about.....<Go figure.
