VR Suite

On his way to 'Parrots' Joe Schweeble decided to take a stroll past the VR
suite to see if anything interesting was going on.
He saw Jacob Stone in a VR suit - he had met Jacob earlier when they had
boarded the ship - and someone else who he hadn't yet met linked to the same
machine.
Joe looked at the monitor to see what game they were playing.
"Vampire Babes from the Planet Zorton, sounds interesting"
As he was watching the monitor he saw Stone get punched by one of the bikini
clad vampires. Joe glanced down at Stone and saw that a bruise had formed
where he had just been hit in the game.
"That's odd, someone must have turned of the safety protocols or something"
Joe thought, "hmmm, does that mean if one of them turns into a vampire, he
will come out of the game as a vampire?" no sooner had he thought this than
he heard a voice over the intercom.
"Lt. Cmdr. Smegg, Lt.Cmdr. Smegg, there's some sort of problem with the warp
core!"
This was followed by another voice, Joe recognised it as Holly.
"Miss Madison, although I, as a computer, don't
technically outrank you, I would like to politely tell you to BUGGER
OFF!"
And without a second thought for the safety of Jacob and the other guy, he
headed off toward engineering to see if he could help in anyway. The ship
was almost deserted if he didn't help then who would?
