Death is like a restart button
Kara McGellen sat staring at the cold steel floor in front of her two former Commanders at the Space Corp. "Seeing as your no longer a crew member you really don't have any other choice." Commander Sprick said. "I've always wanted to come back. Sure of that." Kara said. "So why so hesitant?" Commander Nara asked. "Cause I want to continue exploring the galaxy. Yeah to stay here at the base and provide intel and be able to kick back for the rest of my days until my light-bee burns out whatever sounds great it does. But I want to be out there." Kara replied. Commander Sprick sighed and shook his head. "You know this may or may result in you being turned off for good." He said. Kara smirked and turned around. "I'd like to remain on." She said. "We know that look Kara. How many steps ahead of us are you by now?" Commander Sprick asked. "I have one Starbug being prepared and equipped for a small crew. I already have clearance from the Space Corp to launch. The only downside is I don't have a crew." She replied. "Well why do you need us then?" Nara asked. "You have access to the list and locations of previous Blue Dwarf crew members and your the only ones I can trust to let me get a copy of that." Kara explained. Commander Sprick walked over to his computer and typed something. "What are you doing? Providing her with that intel will get you court martialed!" Nara snapped. Sprick pulled the copy out of his printer and handed it to Kara. "I just need to know one thing." He said. "What's that?" Kara asked. "Why your former crewmembers? You have a good chunk of the finest people in the Corp at your disposal, why not them?" He asked. "Cause there's no else out there in the universe who knows how to have a good laugh like they do." Kara replied as she took the list and walked out of the office. <Tag anyone interested.>Get in touch in an instant. Get Windows Live Messenger now.
