**Actionette** - 'Quick Format'
<snip>
I really wanted to. After a few more attempted jabbings at coloured
buttons, Rosette banished me from the room. I stood outside and
pretended to guard it. I did not actually know what I would have done
if a large penis came to attack me. Probably ran away. Unless it was a
small one. If it were a big stereotypical black man's then I would
have been fucked (hopefully not literally).
</snip>
Who: Rosette, Justin, Kara
Where: Environmental control room, and possibly other places
When: Pretty much exactly after the snip.
"Finally. Now I can get this done properly." Rosette said, shaking her
head as the man that followed her left. She turned away from the
control panel, and looked up at a monitor that was nearby.
"Holly, you there?" She asked. A balding man appeared on the screen
almost instantly.
"Yo. What's up?" he asked. The dull light in the control room was not
enough to glare from his forehead as it usually did... Although the
fact that it did sometimes was even more confusing, since he is an
image on what is essentially a TV screen.
"How do you work this thing?" she asked, turning back to the control
panel. "I have not got a clue." she added, looking around for a big
button that conveniently said 'expel all potentially deadly gas from
the ship, while maintaining air pressure and oxygen content'.
Unfortunately, there wasn't one.
"You want to get rid of the gas, don't you?" Holly asked. Before
waiting for a reply, he said "That button right there. The big green
one thats right above the one that looks like a gay guy eyeing you up
across the bar."
"This one?" Rosette said, and pushed it without waiting for a reply.
Nothing seemed to happen, according to the effects list that she'd
seen, removing the gas relieved the symptoms of exposure almost
instantly, as it's chemical makeup prevents it from staying in the
system. The detatched members were also rumoured to automatically
seek out their owner, and re-attach themselves. It was at this point
that the fan in the corner of the room sped up, and sucked the gas out
of the control room... Away from Rosette.
She turned around to leave, and slowly saw the 'horse' she had been
riding flicker, and slowly turn back into what it really was.
She screamed like a girl.
Hearing the scream, Justin returned to the room. The door slid open,
and the creature shrunk back to its normal size, and leapt at him,
diving into his trousers, and returning to its former location.
Rosette stood in front of him looking like she'd just seen a ghost.
"You...." she began, and repeated it several times, before shuddering.
She walked towards Justin, moving to leave the room. As she passed
him, she muttered "mention that to anyone, and I will kill you." As
she left the room, she saw the form of a woman trying to bash her head
against the wall, but occasionally going through it slightly. "Umm..
Are you OK?" she asked, approaching the hologram known as Kara.

Elsewhere in the Galaxy
----------------------------------------------------------------
"YOU WILL BE FORMATTED." A robotic voice flooded the airwaves in the
sky above the little known planet called Tolorn. It's peaceful people
running in terror as the gigantic spherical space craft landed in the
middle of their cities. Each one of them constantly blasting their
first message until the point that all of the occupants walked out.
Well... Some of them walked anyway. The rest of them hovered, or
skii'd or rolled. Each one of the strange mechanical contraptions
looked slightly different. Except for one similarity. - They all had
giant laser cannons on their shoulders. And of course the
pre-requisite for that being that they all had shoulders.
The leader of the planet walked in front of one of the space craft,
shaking in terror as the hatch opened.
"please! We are a peaceful people... Can we talk about this before you
go bl-" he began, before being blasted. A single smoldering shoe left
where he once stood.
"You will be Formatted." The first robot that left said, as the others
filed out behind him.
Quickly, the planet became a barren landscape. Buildings were
destroyed, turned into rubble. Trees and all form of life were
extinguished by giant grinders that rolled across the surface. Each
and every one of them burning the things that it collected, turning it
into energy for the space craft above.
Later the same day, all of the spherical spacecraft left the
atmosphere of the planet. In the next few years, the planet would
become a desert. And shortly after that, it would implode. All of
the heat from the core... All of the life that thrived on the surface,
gone.
