Preparation for the Assault on Hoth... I mean eBay.

Who: Rosette, Jed, Andy, Rufus.
Where: Who cares?
When: Just after rescuing Jed.
"You know i hate you, right?" Rosette asked as they ran back towards
the drive room. The skeleton crew of mercenaries that Boris was using
to man as many stations as possible were spread thinner than butter on
a vegetarians bacon sandwich. Jed just smiled as a response, and
while Rosette was still holding her knives, she really wanted to kill
him. Oh so badly.
Fortunately, they had no idea what was going on outside, if they had,
they'd have probably left well enough alone. Needless to say they
burst into the drive room having shot their way through quite a few of
the grunts.
"Hey, Boris!" Rosette called. As he turned, Rosette fired both of her
lasers into his face. Boris fell like proverbial shit off the shovel,
prompting most of the loyal ones to point their guns at Rose. She
just smiled, and walked over to his body. She spat on what was left
of his face. "Thats for making me sleep with you." she said, happy to
get that off her chest.
"This is a mutiny, I'm in charge now, anyone that doesn't like it gets
shot or stabbed!" she roared, eyeing up every one of them angrily.
Jed was really getting hot under the collar, he wasn't paying
attention to any of this, just watching Rosette have too much fun.
She turned to face Jed.
"You." she said, prodding him with a knife. "Stay here and keep these
smeggers under control, I'm going to sort this eBay problem." she
said, tearing off out of the corridor. As she ran, she called out to
Holly.
"holly! Find me Andy, and lead me to him!" she shouted, putting her
knives back into their sheathes to allow her to run without the
possibility of stabbing herself in the thigh. As she ran, holly
called out directions for her to take, she ignored all of the grunts
on the corridor, as they all thought she was on their side.
Eventually she found the wolf-man, and stopped to catch her breath.
"Where is he?" she asked, after she'd rested enough to speak properly.
The wolf was still shooting in the direction of the vents when she
spoke, but Rosette called out for him to stop. "there's been a mutiny,
I'm in charge now." she said. The wolf-man pointed his gun towards
her. "And how much more will you be paying me to get me to cooperate?"
he asked. This one wasn't stupid, nor was he one that would fall to
brute intimidation. She had no chance to draw her weapons before he
could shoot, so she bluffed instead.
"I'll double what he was paying you." she said, with a straight face.
Luckily, Andy dropped down from the vents behind him, and smashed him
over the head with an iron bar.
"You're OK!" she called, wanting to hug him for saving her again, but
at the same time, she saw the blood that had soaked over his jacket,
and thought it best not to.
"Where's Rufus?" she asked, helping him stand straight. "I need
someone to hack into eBay when i get in, so we can remove the 'Dwarf
from the bidding." she said, walking with him towards the science
labs. Andy smiled,
"I can hack in for you." he said, glad for an excuse to get off of the
Dwarf for a bit, especially with the authorities closing in on them.
Hopefully he could make his way through the authorities system and
remove his current actions from it...
"Ok, but i still need to find Rufus." she said, speeding up. In
Andy's injured state, he wasn't able to run as fast, so Rosette stayed
with him. "Are you sure you're ok to come down to the planet?" she
asked as they neared Rufus' science lab. She knocked on the door, and
waited. A few seconds later, the door opened, Rufus and Efof were
still inside, though Efof was sat to the side like he'd been told many
times to "don't touch anything." He was still looking around like a
kid in a chocolate shop though.
"We're going down to the planet to take care of the eBay auction." she
said to him as they walked in. "Do you think you'd be able to find
out where they left everyone?" she asked. Rufus turned, with a smile
on his face. "Leave that to me." he said confidently. Rosette smiled
back. "They'll have alot of security down there..." she said, her
smile disappearing. "I'll make sure everyone's safe, But i don't know
if we'll be able to get out..." she added, taking a step towards him.
"You'll be fine." Rufus said, trying to cheer her up. "I've never
seen anyone handle themselves like you have here." he replied, hoping
he'd make her feel better about it. Rosette smiled at him, and
wrapped her arms around him.
"I love you." she said, hugging him tightly before letting go, and
walking out of the door, leaving Rufus standing there, with his mouth
open, lost for words.
"Do you know how to fly?" she asked, as they entered the hangar. Andy
nodded. "Kind of..." he said. They walked towards a midget, one of
the small blue shuttles that would be better suited for a stealth
mission than a bright green Starbug.
"Let's do this then." she said, as the door closed behind them.
