Double Agent - Continued
Who: Rosette, Boris, Andy
Where: Many Places
When: Simultaneous to Andy's post 'got red on you'
Rosette could see Boris was a little skeptical, regardless of her
recent actions. In her mind, she was constantly hitting herself, but
she had to persevere, and move forward.
"They're lucky, I think I know where some of them are going." She said
to Boris, "Should I take these smegheads and go get them?" she asked,
hoping they'd at least be ready for something, and escape in time.
Failing that, at least she'd be able to let them know what her plans were.
"No, I Don't have a reason to trust you yet..." Boris said, the gears
of his mind whirring at higher speeds than they were used to. "I need
to know if i can trust you." he said, standing up from his Captains
chair. "Come with me." he said, walking towards the door. He
motioned for a few of the grunts to follow as well.
"Where are we going?" Rosette asked, hoping to at least mentally
prepare herself for the task he was about to give her. He smiled, and
stopped in front of the turbolift.
"We're going to the Promenade." he said, walking in. Everyone
followed, and soon the lift was underway. Since there were not many
crew left anywhere, and those that were, were being held captive, the
lift was in a state of disrepair, and was creaking as it moved.
"First, I will test your trust, then we will get you looking the
part." he smirked, creating many mental images of Rosette in various
states of undress. Being female, Rosette knew what he was doing from
the way he looked at her. She fought the impulse to smack him across
the face, and instead leant against the side of the lift in as
provocative a way as she could manage in such a confined area.
The lift ground to a halt, and the door squeaked as it opened. The
Promenade was completely empty. All the shops had the metal blinds
down, and dust covered the floor. In the short week it had been since
the 'Dwarf was taken over, no one had ventured into this part of the
ship. Boris turned to his grunts,
"Open a shop" he said, and watched as they all walked over to one of
the blinds, and pulled it up. Inside, an old man sat in the corner,
cowering. "P-Please don't hurt m-me, t-take what you want!" he
stuttered, physically shaking. Boris walked with Rosette into the
shop, which was a clothes shop.
Boris stopped, and turned to Rosette. "Your test of allegiance, as it
were... Kill him." he said plainly, with no hesitation, or sense of
humanity in his voice. Rosette's eyes opened wide, but she knew that
if she didn't, then Boris would probably have her killed. She raised
one of her knives, and pointed it at the man. "I'm sorry" she
mouthed, and closed her eyes.
She pulled the trigger, and turned away. Boris laughed, and walked
into the shop. He returned a minute or so later, with a pair of
leather trousers and a leather jacket. Both of them were black as the
night. He handed them to Rosette. "Now you will look the part too."
he said. Rosette normally wore a simple shirt and old jacket, and
jeans. She didn't look very badass, but that was all about to change.
Rosette took them, and started heading towards the changing rooms, but
heard Boris' voice behind her, "Out here."
In her mind, Rosette really wanted to slice his face off, but at the
same tim she wanted to make it appear like she was on their side. She
turned around, and smiled softly at Boris. She looked to the grunts
that stood either side of him with disgust. That was enough to earn
her a little decency, as Boris sent them out of the shop. Disgarding
her old jacket, Rosette began to change into her new look. Every
second that passed, Boris' grin became wider.
Before she knew it, she had her own squad of grunts. Boris had left
her to her own devices, finding the rebels. Of course, all of the
grunts were given the orders to kill her if she tried anything.
Rosette had become a badass in a matter of hours, and was now known as
Rose. She knew at least Andy would try to get to the janitorial
storage areas.
"If i can capture one of them, then they'd trust me more..." she said
to herself, not wanting to capture Rufus in case they hurt him. "he
coule hide in the science labs quite easily..." she reasoned, making
sure she didn't actually say anything. Eventually, the squad got to
the storage area.
"Spread out, search every inch of the place." Rosette said, drawing
her knives. "I want them alive, they might know where the others
are!" she moved forwards, and began searching with them. She opened a
door, and looked around, turning on the lights. There was a trail of
blood on the floor, Rosette gulped, hoping that it wasn't any of
theirs. She followed it to the corner...
"Andy!" she exclaimed, then looked around hastily to make sure none of
the grunts had heard her. She knelt down beside him, and checked his
pulse. "still alive..." she said, breathing a sigh of relief. She
took her leather jacket off, and her shirt, to use it to tie around
his wound. She replaced her jacket before any of the grunts could see
her, and dragged him out into the corridor.
"A little help over here!" she called angrily. "the smegger went and
got himself shot." she said, ordering them to carry him to the
medibay. If there was anyone left there, they'd be able to patch him
up enough to reveal the location of who was left...
<tag! i really hope there is a doctor left... why did they all go out
in the fighters anyway?>
