Where: Medibay
When: Shocked o'clock

And before Wildflower or Shakespeare could react, he was moving again,
exiting the medibay in a swish of automatic doors and allowing them to
seal solidly behind him with a final, resounding *thunk*.

Wildflower stood still, staring at the space where Keto had been and
still unnerved by how calm and quiet the usually animated doctor had
been. His eyes had been so hollow, so empty and lifeless, so sad.
"Whateth just'st happened?" asked Shakespeare, the past few moments
still attempting to sink into his head. "Whateth did thy Charles say?"
"He's quitting," murmured Wildflower, lost in thought. "He's
resigning as head of the medibay."
"Myne feeblest attempts to serve thy Charles hast but endeth in thine
failure. I be'est no Nurse Cleavage," Shakespeare lamented.
Wildflower sighed forlornly as it clicked in her head.
"No Shakes and that's the problem."
She shook her head and looked back at the Surgeon. "Stay here, I'm
going to go and talk to him, perhaps see if I can do anything. If the
crew needs a physician then you're currently the best we have."
Shakespeare nodded and strode over to his desk. "I shall man thy
workspace accordingst."
Wildflower nodded and ran after Keto.

Chief of Medicine, Charles Keto, walked purposefully down the corridor
towards the turbo lift. He paced in silence, never looking away from
his target - the turbo lift door. A few seconds later and he suddenly
had trainee surgeon Jennifer Wildflower walking by his side.
"Doctor," she said. "I know. I understand."
Keto did not reply.
"You can't quit, we need you back there. We need you to order us
about, to keep us inline. Can you imagine the chaos if someone else
were to run the medibay? Your medibay?"
Keto did not reply.
"Things are bad, I can't sugarcoat that. There's no way you can
forget this, but you have to keep yourself occupied. The medibay is
the best place. You have friends there, colleagues who will help you."
Keto did not reply.
"Please, Tara would not have wanted this."
Keto slowed to a stop and sighed.
"Don't Jennifer," he said quietly.
Wildflower nodded and stood still as Keto resumed his walking towards
the turbolift. She watched as he entered the lift and turned around,
hitting the buttons hidden beside the entrance. The door closed and
took the Chief of Medicine from her view.
Wildflower hurried back to the medibay and entered to see Shakespeare
attending to a crew member with a broken arm.
"It's no good Doctor Shakespeare," she said. "He's gone. He's going
to do it. I don't know what we're going to do. First Hazel Coffey,
then Tara, now Charles."
"Where be'eth Nurse Chrysler?" asked Shakespeare. "And where'st thine
tree?"
The medibay doors opened again, this time bringing another two ill
crew members in.
"We don't have time to worry about that now, we're on our own," she said.

<OOC: Yep, I'm still here! I was just waiting for a point in which I
was used and could take part! :) >
