Heading out
Katrina Swete
Earth
Her childhood home
-----------------------------------------------
After doing a little shopping (where she spent 3 thousand dollars on new
clothes), Katrina began packing. Her parents wanted her to stay, but Katrina
calmly explained she had a tribunal to go to, then she had to return to the
Blue Dwarf and finish her time.
"Well, don't forget to write. You know we worry when we don't hear from you,"
her father said.
"I will," Katrina promised, heading for the front door. A taxi was waiting
for her outside.
Her mom wrapped her in a bear hug. "I love you, my Kitty Kat."
"Love you, too."
As the taxi began towards the airport, her eyes never left her home until it
was hidden by trees. She had a feeling she wouldn't see it again for a long,
long time.
