Marwood & Monsoon: The Return

Who: Peter Marwood and Eddie Monsoon
Where: Starbug 5
When: After a very, very long and complex adventure involving lots of
heroics and daring-do
Starbug 5 flew towards Blue Dwarf at breakneck speed, it's four legs
splayed behind it like an old dog. It's paintwork was scratched and
dented, but nothing the tech boys couldn't fix in ten minutes. The
mammoth jaws of the Landing Bay doors pulled open to allow the tiny
green vessel to enter and land. Flying down the half mile of runway,
the ship landed in the centre of the landing pad.
Inside the ship was pilot Peter Marwood and security guard Eddie
Monsoon. Due to various time-warpy-paradoxy stuff, both had changed
considerably. Firstly, Marwood - who had until recently been a
hologram - had returned to life in a clone of his original body, and
Eddie had been de-aged by twenty years. If the two of them had met
any of their crewmates, it was highly likely their co-workers would
have recognised them. They were both long haired and heavily bearded,
dressed in filthy, tattered uniforms and barefoot. Marwood - who was
in the pilot's seat - keyed off the ignition and waited for Eddie to
speak.
"Well that was…weird" said Eddie
"Weird?" said Marwood "That is the last time I ever go on a business
trip with you. A quick trip to Cannibal V you said, six weeks of
fighting for my life against vicious cannibals with their eyes set on
enjoying me with a bit of mashed potato and gravy." he got and
stormed away to the airlock.
"Yeah I `spose" said Eddie, unbuckling his harness and making his way
down into the midsection of the shuttle "food was good though".
