Another Blunder in history

Who: Kevn and Rico
where: Library, "Red" Dwarf
when: after some planning
"Okay!" Kevn yelled as he stopped near the steel door to the
void, "You ready Rico?"
Rico raised the buzzing ball and nodded.
"Okay... here we go!" kevn jerked the door and stepped into the white
light...
Before Kevn could open his eyes he felt the cold muzzles of
gunbarrles on his cheeks, "You guys... I come in peace..." Kevn said
raising his hands in the air.
"Why did you come back?" he heard someone say
"Why did you send those guys to retrieve me?" Kevn asked.
"Answer my question."
"No. You answer mine..." Kevn looked at the figure in the back with a
cold stare.
"You're machine... the ball... it is more than you know..."
"Oh you don't think I realized that? Well let me tell you
something... let you in on a little secret..." Kevn looked at the
guards to see if they were listening...
"This has to stop now... God knows what this void is doing to the
fabric of reality... I'm tellin you. you have to stop before you go
and hurt yourselves"
"This is a massive achievement for the human race! We can't just shut
it down and leave it."
"There are somethings man wasn't supposed to do, wasn't supposed to
find or create... I mean look at history... Quiche, Britney Spears,
Michael Jackson! For heaven sakes don't make the mistake again!"
"You are convincing... But this is so much more different!"
Kevn sighed, "Fine... I guess there's nothing to do now... I'll be
leaving now." Kevn leapt back into the void. The guards stood
dumbfounded at what had just happened. Suddenly the buzzing ball flew
out of the void, it seemed to bounce around inside the void, the void
let out a large quake and collapsed as if it were a whirlpool in a
tub...
Kevn caught the ball as it fell out of their side of the void. This
too closed. hopefullf for keeps.
"So that's it?" Rico asked, "No fight? No nothing? Just walk away
from this like it's nothing?"
"It is nothing Rico... its just a silly memory... Now if you don't
mind I'm going to bed..." Kevn walked off, his body aching from
today's misadventure...
