*ACTION* Meet the family

"Nice work guys" came Jay's voice over the comm. "Fferna...we need the
coordinates for your homeworld, I want to pay your people a visit.."
Efof clapped even more excitedly, and hugged Mk.9 tightly, who sent an
electrical pulse through his outer casing, shocking Efof into dropping him.
"I'm sure the president will be very pleased to meet our new....allies"
Fferna replied to Jay. "Coming aboard..."

The wormhole opened, and the immense hulk of the mining ship Blue Dwarf
emerged, and settled into orbit around a small, greenish planet.
"This is it?" Jay asked Fferna, who was stood next to him in the Drive Room.
"That's it." she said.
Jay glanced at the scanner read-out for the planet, it had barely reached an
industrial level of civilisation, he wondered how an advanced race like the
FFionian's, 1000 years ahead of humankind's evolution had managed to survive
in such a primitive state of development. Sure, they had FTL capable ships,
but surely, they're settlement should show signs of advanced technology too?
"Jay..." said Amber, from the helm, "We're being approached by two large
warships.."
"Warships?"
"Sorry..." said Fferna, "My people are somewhat Xenophobic, you must
understand, our homewolrd was destroyed by the Hymenoptera, and since then
everytime we try to settle anywhere, we get driven off the planet by a race
claiming to hold sovereingty over it.."
Jay nodded, and turned to Marwood, "Send them a message, advised we're here
to help, and that we've brought Fferna and her cargo home"
Marwood did so, then turned back to Jay.
"They don't believe us....they.."
"They're charging weapons!" yelled Harris, at the tactical station, "Should
I alert Mk.9 to ready the turrets?"
"NO!" Jay replied "We're not here to start another war with these people,
Fferna, can you talk to them?!"
She nodded and shoved Marwood out of his seat at the communications panel.
"FFionan vessells, this is Fferna Vah' Jynar. STAND DOWN. These people are
here to...help"
"Fferna, whyhave you brought outsiders to our homeworld?"
"Because they want to help us win the war. They're here to see President
Up'Yoors U'toss-ah. I'm sending you my clearance codes to verify my ID."
Fferna then tapped the keypad.
There was silence on the comm for a few minutes, then the two vessel's
de-armed their weapons.
"You may remain in orbit, and send landing craft to the surface. President
U'toss-ah will greet you, and he say's...to make yourselves at home."
