Seymour + Rosette "Who holds the card around here?"

Who: Seymour & Rosette
Where: Seymour's (now shared) Ambassadorial Apartment
When: The morning after the spacebattle
Seymour frantically dashed around his spacious living room still
wearing his pyjamas and an expensive silk bath robe. He moaned and
muttered to himself as he tidied the apartment. He was anally
particular about keeping his apartment tidy, but the presence of
Rosette here was throwing things into absolute chaos for him. Simple
things she did like move a cushion a bit to the right really overthrew
the balance of the apartment in Seymour's pernickety world.
Seymour gasped in horror as he saw one of his favourite coffee mugs
placed on his antique coffee table WITHOUT the use of a coaster. He
gripped a chair arm as he felt weak at the knees and fought the need
to feint.
He then found biscuit crumbs and melted chocolate in the edges of his
settee. "Nooooo! Not on the Corynthian leather!" he whinged. He found
his small handy-vac and furiously vacuumed the settee like his life
depended on it.
He even brought in some little `peewee' service robots and told them
to clean the apartment. They looked around the apartment then
spluttered something in audible binary that translated to "It looks
bloody clean to me" then left, shaking their heads and heading towards
the pub.
Seymour went into his kitchen area and opened his food cupboards. Some
shelves were bare, some packets had been opened, and various things
had been tried and put back.
"She's eating me out of house and home!" He said, not thinking that he
could easily afford to replace the things she had eaten.
"She's taking advantage of my good hospitality, I think it's time to
teach her the value of things rather than take them for granted!"
He was startled slightly by the sound of a toilet flush in his
bathroom. "She must be getting up!" he surmised, but when peering
around the corner he saw the last of the service robots walking out of
the bathroom with a piece of toilet roll stuck to it's foot.
Seymour went into the bathroom, he had an idea.
He quickly had a shower and got changed. When he had finished he
removed all towels from the bathroom and hid them in his room. He also
removed his spare bathrobe and replaced the lavish shampoo and shower
gel he used for some cheap bargain basement soap.
"There's no chance I'm wasting some of my expensive items on a girl
from the streets!" he said, and waited for Rosette to get up.
Half an hour later, Rosette walked bleary-eyed from her room. Seymour
was sat on the breakfast bar with a cup of earl grey, a newspaper and
a sly grin.
"Good morning." He said with slight malice.
"Mornin'!" she said far too chirpily for someone who had just woken
up. Seymour scowled at her ability to sound so happy in the morning,
it was the same thing he hated about Efof.
Seymour watched Rosette go into the bathroom and waited for the sound
of the shower to start. When it did he clasped his hands together in
glee. "She'll soon realise not to take my good hospitality for granted
when she has to ask me for everything!" he said. "I'm the one that
holds the cards around here!"
Ten minutes later a dripping wet Rosette bit her lip when she realised
there was no dry towel to reach for.
